Very happy with our stay! Property was in a great location with proximity to Colton Point State Park and Pine Creek rail trail. Cabin had everything we needed. It was extremely clean. Definitely would stay here again if in the area!

The cabin/ house was lovely, everything we needed! Very nicely decorated and comfortable! Wonderful communication and easy check in! The outside grounds were unkept and needed attention!

Lovely place. Relaxing and comfortable. Tree down across the driveway the night we were checking in. We sent a text at 11 pm. and had a response within minutes. They were able to provide us other VRBO accommodations within 15 mins of the property for the night. Would highly recommend!

Great place for basecamp to explore the PA grand canyon area. Pine creek rail trail, Pine creek access, and Colton Point state park are less than 5 min away. The house was super clean, very comfortable and stocked with everything you need. I especially enjoyed the scenery from the rear deck. I can't wait to return.

This is such a lovely house. It was a perfect layout for 2 retired couples. The views were spectacular - I think we hit peak leaf peeping! The house was very clean. No complaints on our end!! It happened to be homecoming weekend, so restaurants were packed. As we wandered downtown (which is just lovely!!) someone could apparently tell we were from out of town and sent us to their favorite restaurant, which was not so busy, since it was a bar. And we had the best meal! The next day we just kept checking restaurants and ended up at the Mexican - it was so delicious!! And the breakfast places are wonderful too!Wellsboro is a really nice little town (I live in a little town, so I know!). The people were extremely friendly. It was a perfect weekend getaway!!

Stayed 7 nights from June 7th -14th 2026. Had a wonderful stay best of all was the location. Easy ride to the trail from the house. Hiked right from the house to the West End Rim. House was spotless with a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful home and this will be a definite rebook. We have been coming to the area every summer for 5 years. Dogs loved it too!

We had a wonderful time at Creekside Retreat! The cabin was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly suited for a relaxing weekend away to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful setting, wonderful stay

The house is nestled in the gorge with beautiful mountains in every direction. It’s just a short, safe bike ride to the gorge trail and to peaceful, hilly rides through the mountain forests. The house is laid out very well for two couples, very nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans and utensils. Lots of deck space for meals, enjoying the creek and mountain views.
