Nice house with a great deck. We all enjoyed the visits from the deer especially once we bought some deer corn at Fred’s. Host very responsive to my pre visit questions.

Beautiful and great location!!

The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was great and 10 minutes away from the local town and ski resort. There were lots of deers running around the property which made our stay magical. The wifi didn’t worked for us on our phones or the on the tvs but could’ve been due to the weather, however the deers made up for it. The beds were very comfortable and the outside area was lovely. Will definitely recommend!

Great stay

We had a great time at this house. As advertised, the covered deck with fireplace is awesome. In the summer time in Beech Mountain it can act as your living room. We sat out there and watched movies with a fire going every night. Temps were generally in the 60s at night. Just something to know: the house (and many others in Beech) does not have AC. For 95% of the time, this is no issue. Just keep a lot of windows open and you’re good to go. But on really warm days, it can be stuffy in the house. In an 8 night stay, we only had one night like this. Overall a great stay.

Overall, the property was very comfortable. The patio was spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax. If you're looking for mountain views, be aware that they are mostly blocked by foliage during the summer months, though the view may open up in the winter.Beech Mountain is usually cool enough that air conditioning isn't necessary. However, our stay coincided with one of the hottest stretches of the year, and because the house does not have AC, it was quite uncomfortable for the first few days until temperatures cooled down.Overall, I would recommend the house.
