Amazing Oceanfront Home

Enjoy a OCEANFRONT duplex with amazing 270 degree south-facing views for all day sun on the beach! This family-friendly and immaculate home boasts an open main level with living/dining space, a renovated kitchen, and main level queen bedroom. This versatile floor plan includes a 2nd floor with master suite with oceanfront views and two additional well-appointed bedrooms. The kitchen features granite countertops, tile backsplash, newer appliances, and is well stocked with every gadget and utensil needed to prepare large meals or accommodate take-out from the many restaurants on the island.

Sit on the covered deck and watch the sun rise and set over the sparkling water. The house is positioned closer to the dunes and ocean than the neighboring houses for unobstructed views up and down the island. Watch the kids play on the beach from the deck or the many ocean-view windows in the house.

Enjoy an evening walk on the beach to multiple restaurants on the island serving fresh seafood, steaks and refreshing island drinks. Have dessert at the local ice cream shop before heading back for a relaxing night listing to the ocean surf.

Holden Beach is a quiet, family-friendly beach recognized as a top beach by USA Today and a top-10 beach by National Geographic Traveler’s Magazine. There are no hotels or high-rise complexes, just family owned cottages. Holden Beach is part of the barrier island chain in southeastern NC and is also located approximately 35 miles from Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC -- making trips for shopping, eating and entertaining very convenient. Holden Beach is also well-situated for 30 area golf courses.

We love our “home away from home,” and our family has spent many years enjoying all that Holden has to offer. We would love for you to choose to spend your vacation time at our property. Renting directly from the owner may be new to you (through VRBO), but we enjoy helping our renters plan the perfect vacation and that will exceed your expectations.

We had a wonderful week’s vacation with friends who rented the other side of the duplex. The home was clean and had all we needed. The check-in process was easy, and we appreciated that linens and towels were included! The location close to coffee, park, bridge is nice. The only thing we wished to have was an outdoor shower and easier access from the deck to the underside of the house. Overall, it was such a great week esp as we prepare to move our oldest daughter into her freshman college dorm in a couple weeks. Many cherished moments as a family spent here this week! Thank you!

Our stay at Holden Beach was great. The beach house was amazing, modern and clean and really was perfect for our family. The location was close to several restaurants and other amenities such as grocery stores and gas stations. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate with our stay. It was extremely windy for several days straight but that’s just one of those things you gamble on. Overall, I would comeback again. I would say that there’s not really a lot to do here other than the beach especially if you’ve got children that get bored easily or the beach atmosphere is not there cup of tea. Something to consider.

We 5 retired women have stayed at a different property at Holden Beach the past three years, but began to notice the house wasn’t as cared for anymore. Boy, what an upgrade! This new house was beautiful and so clean. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easier to prepare meals. Our view from the living area and porch was beautiful regardless of the time of day. My only complaint was not being acknowledged by the hosts from a couple of texts I sent. I possibly did not use the correct link, in which case that’s on me. We girls are definitely ready to book this house again for next year!

Excellent Family Beach

We loved our stay. The location is awesome and the beach was perfect. The condo had all we needed for a wonderful family vacation. They had baby gates for the stairs and a booster seat as well, which was helpful for families with toddlers.

We had a great week despite a rough start. We were not prepared for the stained grout in the bathrooms. They were scary. There was also a missing smoke detector and mold stains in one bedroom. Some bugs in the shower. Linen package provided one towel person and one kitchen towel and wash cloth. After sending pictures to owners they were aware of all items except the smoke detector. I had to send a follow up the next day about safety concerns with smoke detector and then things turned around. Owners immediately sent out pest control and we never saw another bug. They sent extra linens, blankets, pillows. Sent a handyman to fix smoke detector and a few other miscellaneous items. They indicated there are plans to renovate showers in the fall. This will help tremendously as the place is nicely decorated, location is great. Outside space is small, but it is as pictured and would be perfect for a smaller group. It is a nice home - bathrooms just need a little love. There were lots of shells, which was a nice surprise!
