Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Victoria Carruth

I was born and raised in Alabama. I have lived in Tennessee for 45 years. I am a retired Social Worker. I have always worked in the healthcare field. My husband bought these two tents before he died in May of 2023. I love entertaining and cooking. Sometimes one may find me cooking breakfast for guests or cooking a dinner. I like being a host because I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and nationalities. I often wonder about each of my guests.
Why they chose this property
Turtletown is a quiet place to live with minimal violence. The schools are top-notch and most of the students go on to college to expand their horizons and most become doctors, lawyers, nurses, or school teachers. There are several things to do in the area that will entertain young people and old alike. Turtltown is a rural neighborhood with one general merchandise store, a New Dollar Store, and one gas station called JettMart. The people in the community are all very concerned about their neighbors. When something happens like a disaster or an emergency people are always willing to lend a helping hand.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique and makes it special is the Creek that runs around the property and it is clear natural water. People driving by will generally stop and fill up jugs of water instead of buying water in the store. My water has no Debry or chemicals in the water. It is as clear and pure as any natural spring water can be. My property is safe, quiet, and off the grid but gave All the conveniences of home.
