Next to Mara Provincial Park to explore a larger beach with more action. Retro inspired look with a huge treed backyard completes the real cottage experience. Rustic exterior with BBQ and patio set on the deck and a campfire at the back. Cozy small cottage with Wifi, AC for added comfort. Just 12 mins to the closest supermarket in Orillia and access to many public beaches on Lake Simcoe. Sleeps upto 6.

Note: it's not direct waterfront, it's a 2 min walk to a public sandy beach. This section of Lake Simcoe has hard sandy bottom and almost no weeds for a long distance, making it easy to swim and have the kids play in the sand or in the shallow entry water.

The cottage was very cute. Quite clean and very well equipped with the basics for cooking and kitchen ware etc. Loved the choice of cleaning products etc. The cooking and heating system was very efficient. Lovely spot!My family and I enjoyed our stay. We had fun and made great summer memories!

It was a quaint lovely cottage. Very clean. The communication with the owner was very fluid. The neighbours where we stayed and those we encountered on our walk, were very friendly. The only downside was that we thought it did face the lake... All in all we had a great stay !!

We were looking for a location to just relax, enjoy and we found it here. The cosy cottage was perfect for us, we had a wonderful fire, toasted marshmallows and relaxed. . Anything we needed was close by . The cottage was very clean very well laid put. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.WAllWmarshmallow

We arrived, exterior covered in spider webs, lots of spiders. Entrance door very hard to open, screen door does not close. Bed were partially made, sheets hanging on floors, in disarray, shower door was broken, temporarily replaced with a plastic curtain, lots of molding at exterior base of shower, not one bed was useable, mattresses very uncomfortable, one mattress was a simple old foam, main bed frame did not even rest on floor, suspended by plastic totes underneath bed, fridge was dirty, yellow milky substance at bottom drawer. Heat/Air conditioning pump did not work properly, it started then kept shutting down. We left cottage to reassess then returned, interior temperature of cottage was warmer than when we left despite having cooling system on. Couch extremely dated very uncomfortable. We reached out to host, zero response. Communication with both VRBO and host impossible on app both on Android phone and computer. We could not get comfortable at all, we did not stay. We contacted both VRBO and host, no response. VRBO did call us and attempted to contact host, no answer. Instructed us to follow-up with host directly, no response. We had to move to another accomodation on short notice, cost us a small fortune to continue with holiday. Never again. This listing should be removed from VRBO site.
