Parking at this location was difficult. The sidewalk on the one side of the street is under construction, leaving only one side of the street for parking. Do not park in the lot across the street, you will be ticketed. We only stayed for two days and was fine for our needs. The place was clean, but If we were in town longer I would stay somewhere else.

Stayed 2 nights in Jun 2025
Response from VrboOwner on 24 June 2025
Thank you kindly for your stay. Apologies on the municipality's sidewalk repairs, unfortunately this is beyond our control. They are working to make the city more beautiful for all its residents and visitors. Please take notice that this is temporary and these efforts will be completed by the end of June 2025. Im the interim, we are offering temporary parking amenities 1 block away.
Booked this property for a stay in the Reading area while visiting my parents. The house was comfortable and clean which we all appreciated. I did not have much communication with the host (not his fault; I didn’t reach out much), but when I did, he answered all of my questions and the check-in and check-out process was simple with a key lock box out front attached to the porch railing. Our first night was on a Saturday and I felt like we had a welcome party with all the music in the neighborhood; we enjoyed it, others may not. The next five nights were all quiet and peaceful. The bed my wife and I slept in (front room, 2nd floor) was a comfortable foam mattress and I slept well every night. By contrast, the last night of our trip we stayed at my in-laws and I tossed and turned all night in the bed they had for us. Two notes on parking. One, if you can’t parallel park, this may not be the option for you as that type of street parking is the only option there. But I was always able to find a space each night and didn’t have any issues. Two, you will have to move your car on Monday mornings (if you park on the same side of the street as the Vrbo house is located) due to city maintenance activities. Bottom line, if you’re planning to stay in the Reading area, I would recommend staying here; there’s plenty of room in this nicely-updated rowhome, and I will definitely book again if it’s available the next time I’m in the area.
