Unbelievable vacation home that covers all the bases! The host was amazing, great communication. This really is a Paddlers Paradise, lakefront with all the toys. We will definitely stay again!
Everything was wonderful except for the hide a bed. our daughter son-in-law and two children took that room and it was a good thing they did because they are camping and had air mattresses after the first night. They folded up the hide a bed and slept on the floor. The pontoon boat was in great shape and there were plenty of lifejackets. Also, the fishing was wonderful. The kids caught a number of fish and they released.
This property is clean, provides plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. There is only one pullout couch (not 2 as the description lead us to believe which listed a queen pullout in the “common” area and another in the “living” area), but the mattress is not one we wanted to sleep on so used our blowup mattresses. The fire table cannot be used because of a safety hazard being under a deck — this should be mentioned in the description. Also, the kitchen ice maker did not work but we found that the ice maker in the laundry room on the lower level did work. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat — we felt the water was too murky to swim in near the property but did seem more clearer in the deeper parts. Overall, we enjoyed our girls trip in Paw Paw!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
I had to request the check in instructions. Supposed to be sent 4 days prior to the stay but I finally asked at two days prior. The check-in and out instructions had several conflicting statements so we went on what we had done in prior rentals. There were several issues which we broght to the realtors attention immediately. They did respond in a timely manner but their resolution was less than satisfactory.-The garage was unavailable although listed as an amenity.-Gas grill was filthy, inoperable unable to be used.-Pontoon boat had an out of date inspection, starboard running lights were out and the prop was filthy.-A lower fire table was secured with a tie wrap and unuseable. Our family had a good time at the property regardless of the issues listed. We did notify the realtors but were dismissed on each issue. We sent pics so as not to be penalized. Maybe everything was not listed as an amenity but it should be in proper working order or noted in the guest book as inoperable. Also, ice maker upstairs did not work and should have been noted. Fun property, great location but the property managers need to step it up a lot.

So sorry you didn't have a perfect stay, but like we mentioned when we talked, the garage is listed as available because that is where they keep all the gear for guests to use while there. When we arrived to check the grill, it was working perfectly fine. The inspection was up to date on the pontoon and was posted in the glove box area of the boat. The reason the fire table isn't to be used is due to a fire hazard, it is located directly under a wooden deck, which is why the owner had it closed off. But we do appreciate the feedback
