We sincerely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. The host was very responsive and deserves our highest recommendation. The king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace, the well stocked kitchen and the incredible views from the front porch. It did snow while we were there, but our Jeep Wrangler easily made it up the driveway. It was a incredible experience from beginning to end.
The best host! The place is perfect. Love everything. You will want to use the fireplace so pick up plenty of firewood!

The start we had was a very quiet and clean stay. The cabin itself was beautiful. The host was very accommodating. I highly recommend this host. We will be returning soon just to get away!
The cabin was great! It had a nice homey feel to it and overall safe for a family with children! Came equipped with kitchen necessities and fairly secluded. We plan to book again our next trip to Boone!
This is a beautiful cabin in a great location..close to App State, Grandfather Mountain etc. It was clean and comfortable for 4 people. Communication with the host was the only thing that was sub par. The responses we got, if we got one, were auto generated so never really answered a question. Otherwise had a great stay.
This cabin is open and airy. Very clean when we arrived. My husband, daughter, and her friend went skiing at Beech for a few days while we stayed there. You definitely need AWD or 4x4 during winter months to get up to the cabin; we made it up and down the driveway in snow just fine. Loved the big tub in the primary bedroom. All in all a great experience.
The host was welcoming and helpful and prompt to reply to our concerns. The codes to the TV streaming apps were not available for us. We only wanted to watch SNF and MNF and a news channel and could not get them. It was VERY frustrating. We thought the owner should adjust our fee, but she would not. There is not a dining table or chairs in the cabin. The cabin was clean and had a good view of the mountains.
The cabin was nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the deer every day that walked by the cabin. The bedrooms were nice. It was a little inconvenient for the second bathroom to be downstairs and the bedroom to be upstairs. The shower only produced hot water in that bathroom so we could not use it. The communication with the owner or the person managing the rental was less than optimal. He provided info but links did not work in the communication but we had a cell phone number which was good to quickly get a message to him. The cabin was easy to get to and the roads were well paved. It did snow a lot and we were still able to drive down with no problem. The wood burning fireplace was a hit. We used it a lot. The porch was nice. Great view and loved the wildlife. We would stay here again.
Pro - Nice cabin, secluded, quiet, good view, love the porch.
Con - 1. No dressers in bedroom, either hang everything
up or put on floor.. 2. Bedroom blinds get stuck. couldn't close 1st night, bright morning @ 6:30 AM.. Finally got them down, but stuck down. 3. Washing machine din't work, ran out of towels, had to use paper towels. 4. Kitchen sink charcoal water filter flashing red, assume cartridge needed to be changed. Wasn't sure how important, but bought bottled water just to be safe.
