Exceeded all expectations!!

We were a group of four senior golfers looking for a home base for a week of golf and found the Bayview Cottage. This place was perfect for us. Central but isolated, very spacious but cosy at the same time and every convenience at hand! We would definitely return. Thanks for having us.

Even Better Than Advertised!

The cottage is lovely - so much space, clean, and comfortable. It's on a beautiful property which is very private and quiet. The cottage has everything you need like beach towels, umbrellas, kitchen appliances (including a dishwasher!), washer/dryer, games, books, movies, a canoe and kayak, AND a hot tub. Krista was lovely and helpful! I highly recommend this cottage. The photos don't do the property or cottage justice - it's even better than it looks.

Très belle résidence située dans un endroit calme et isolé, nous donnant accès à un point d'eau pour faire du Canot et kayak. La localisation est centrale sur l'île, à 5 minutes de cavendish et à 40 minutes des grandes villes. Krista, la propriétaire nkus a donné un super accueil et à toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions tout au long du séjour. Nos 2 familles de 8 personnes, dont 4 enfants de 5 et 7 ans avaient suffisamment d'espace. Je lre recommande

A Hidden Gem on This Beautiful Island!!

We were a family of 8 people, including 5 adults, 2 teenagers and a toddler. The cottage was everything we expected and more. Plenty of room, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We listened to the birds on the river every morning. We walked the 1 km driveway to visit the neighbour's cows every day. We sat by the fire-pit and admired the stars every evening. The cottage was quiet and peaceful and centrally located for many wonderful island activities. We enjoyed Cavendish Beach, Cavendish Boardwalk, Mini-Putt, Green Gables, Avonlea Village, Cows Ice Cream, Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Suppers in Rustico, PEI Preserves, and the Toy Factory, which were all less than 30 minutes drive from the cottage. The cottage hostess was absolutely wonderful and so very helpful in making our summer vacation so memorable. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Truly a Home Away From Home

The cottage is well located to be your starting point to anywhere on the Island, and very close to lots of great things to see and experience. The cottage is extremely well appointed and well equipped. The landlady is delightful.

“Hideaway” close to everything

This property is all that is described and then some. At one point we had our entire extended family staying and with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2 kitchens to work from all eight of us were very comfortable. Hammock, horseshoes, fire pit, badminton, ring toss, kayak, canoe, etc.. were on hand to enjoy as well as BBQ, deck with tables and chairs, ....... We really could not think of anything that we would have changed or added. It was quiet yet very close to Cavendish. No it’s not on the beach but is on a river and Cavendish is just down the road. You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome!!

The cottage was amazing! We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing the Hope River, even found some geocaches along it!! We were very close to all the fun activities Cavendish has to offer. To top it all off we couldn’t have asked for better weather! Very secluded property we highly recommend if you are looking for privacy!
