Nestled in a Quiet Neighborhood, Yet Minutes to Tech
Enjoy relishing your child's graduation, the excitement of a football game, visiting Tech, or just enjoying the wonders of Southwest Virginia. My home provides the perfect place for you to return from the day's adventures and relax.
The house provides ample space on both floors for family and friends to gather yet is designed for privacy at night. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor, two with en suite baths. The kitchen (with eating area), living room/dining room, and deck are free flowing and are a wonderful place to congregate.
Likewise, the downstairs has a large rec room with access to the patio. There are two more bedrooms -- one with an en suite bath and another with the bath across the hall. There's a coffee pot in the mini kitchen/laundry room for those that need an extra minute in their PJs.
On both floors, enjoy looking out through the large windows at the woods or hanging out on the deck or patio. In the early spring, there will be daffodils popping out among the trees. In the summer, the trees will be in their glory and in the fall there should be vibrant colors to enjoy.
So Convenient: - Lane Stadium: 2.3 miles - Krogers: .8 miles - Downtown (Lyric Theater): 1.9 miles

Great location for a VT game. Very cozy home to stay with friends & family. Easy to get to. Plenty of space and bedrooms. Host was great and easy to got hold of.
There were 8 of us, 6 adults and two grandchildren who all had a wonderful time at the house and in Blacksburg. The house was perfect for a family get together and the hosts were wonderful to communicate with and made our visit so easy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here next time we visit VT.
This was the perfect venue for a reunion of old college friends to attend a Hokie football game. The house was clean, well laid out and nicely equipped, ensuring a comfy and enjoyable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, which provided plenty of room for catching up and playing games. The artwork in the house will be a topic of discussion for some time. Access to the stadium via bus was a breeze, with the BT bus stop a reasonable walk from the house, making our game day logistics super convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, fun, and well-located place to gather!
We had a great time at JoEllen’s place for a Virginia Tech Homecoming Football game weekend! Her home offered enough bedrooms and bathrooms for each of our 5 couples - college friends and VT alum. We walked to Bull and Bones Brewhaus for dinner one night. And the location was excellent to get to and from campus for tailgating and other activities. She was an excellent host.
Our VRBO home was the perfect selection and location for our gathering of 3 generations to celebrate our youngest two boys (twins) graduation from Virginia Tech. All of us staying together under one roof, made the weekend so much more special. Instead of fighting the crowds for restauraunt reservations we were able to order in, relax, and spend more time together as a family. The home was the anchor of a great weekend. We gathered around the dining room table or in the large eat-in kitchen that had everything you might need. 5 bedrooms paired with 5 bathrooms was a very very nice convenience. Lastly, a big thank you to our host for her gracious hospitality.
