This was our group’s third stay at Skyfall. We love everything about this place and the owners are wonderful and very easy to deal with. Highly recommend!
We had a great time at Skyfall. The view down over Lake of Bays was exceptional. The cottage had plenty of space and enough bathrooms. We were six of us but one night there were eight of us. . The kitchen was well equipped with good cooking facilities, great BBQ and close to Dorset to get groceries easily but far enough away to feel completely in nature. The cottage had character and charm. -great deep water swimming. Lots of parking and great star watching. Its a wonderful spot. Thank you

Lovely lakeside retreat
Our family of 5 plus relatives visiting from Italy and the U.S. (we were 10 in total) had a lovely week at this lakeside cottage. Highlights included the sauna, swimming off the dock, and outdoor campfires at night. Although the cottage technically accommodates 10+, we found that it would be ideal for a smaller group or a single family. E.g., the bathroom in the loft bedroom is completely open/visible to the main room below, so not great for private use in a multi-family situation. Suzanne and Sara were easy to communicate with. All in all, a cozy and fun Muskoka cottage!
Great swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and the property itself was very special- we stayed for a few days and were finding new nooks and crannies on the lovely property each day. Thank you!!
What a spectacular stay near Dorset! The cottage was spacious and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. The walk down to the waterfront was magical and the lake was exquisite. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions. We hope to visit again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sara and Suzanne's. It was both roomy for our group while still having lots of cozy corners for reading, playing games or hanging by the fire. It also has a beautiful view of the lake and everything you need in the kitchen. Our only note is that if you're staying with a group of adults some of the beds and bedrooms are a touch small (doubles vs. queens) with one room having only a kid's length bunk bed. But overall, great hosts and a lovely spot.
The property was spacious and cozy. It was the perfect place to spend our last summer weekend with the family. The hosts were easy and quick to communicate with. We loved our stay and will be back!
We had a beautiful experience. Loved the location and views. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Going on nature walks. Would definitely return here in the summer where I can enjoy the water activities as well. Thank you for everything!! Felt super comfortable and everything was available and easy to find. Will be back.
We are a family of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed a winter getaway.
Great location, the kids enjoyed tobogganing down the driveaway and then cuddling up by the fire afterwards.
Will repeat if available!
The property is beautiful, the host were amazing, helpful and friendly

Beautiful spot!
Please note that we booked this thru VRBO which was listed through "Canada Stays". We had to pay two service charges. I recommend you book this directly thru Canada Stays to save 250 plus dollars.
We were celebrating an 80th birthday - eleven of us ranging in age from 11 to 80. The cottage is large and easily accommodated everyone. The four kids slept on pullouts, Murphy bed, etc in the Great Room. The most beautiful view in Lake of Bays and the large deck was perfect for a large group to play games, eat, sip a cocktail, view the sunset. Highly recommended. Only drawback was the 200 steps to the water (and back up). Exhausting for any age and not doable for this senior (had to go into Dorset and taken by boat to our dock. Otherwise, a great rental!
