Iconic architect-designed Northwest Contemporary house in beautiful island setting amidst the warm colors of native landscaping. Very private and quiet. 450 ft. of waterfront. 7 acres in meadow, orchard and timber. Watch eagles soar over the historic boathouse. See the sea otter and harbor seals play off shore. Swim, dig clams, pick oysters, crab, beach walk, canoe, bicycle. Get acquainted with the abundant marine life. Visit the deer in the meadow. Pick blackberries and apples in season.
In summer eat dinner on the deck in the glow of the sunset. Roast s'mores over an open fire. In other seasons stay warm by the fireplace, curled up with a good book . Watch the weather move across the water in ever changing patterns and colors. Watch the sun rise over the dew studded meadow, Bask in the light of the moon reflected in the bay before it sets behind Indian Island. .
Premier destination Ft. Flagler State Park ,an historic and natural resource treasure at the north end of island, invites your exploration . So do the two county parks on the island. All have wonderful, distinct Puget Sound beaches, splendid views of mountains to east and west, and hiking trails. Easily accessible by bicycle.
This island living is only 20 minutes away from the delights of historic Pt. Townsend: restaurants, breweries, shops, museums, concerts, Ft. Warden State Park, the Wooden Boat Festival, the Jazz Festival and other seasonal events. Chimacum is close by, the center of a growing sustainable agriculture movement. About the host
Hosted by Nancy Taylor and Pat Lantz

Our home on Kilisut Harbor was built by our parents in 1969, in fulfillment of their retirement dream.. Now the extended family...children, grandchildren and great grandchild... are fortunate to be able to continue to enjoy this very special place in all seasons.
A small scale house by design, it incorporates the beauty of the site at every angle and promotes indoor/outdoor living. It is quintessential Pacific Northwest. No wonder we love it so. We are 6 generations of Washingtonians.
Its a getaway place in winter and a festival of activities in the summer: baseball in the meadow, an impromptu golf course, good moorage for a boat, fun on the beach, crab boils, songs round the campfire. In any season a beachwalk on driftwood-strewn Marrowstone Point is a must where we search for the latest treasures high tide has brought. You will find us outdoors, year 'round, and always outfitted in the uniform of Puget Sound country: fleece, goretex and and waterproof boots.
We know this place to be rare and priceless, we are pleased to share it with others who will treasure it as we do.
