Jeffery was the most challenging guest I’ve ever hosted. He seemed determined to find reasons to complain and request a refund. When everything was fine, he still made up issues. For instance, upon arrival, his first complaint was about the hand towels. I provided two, but he insisted there should have been a third. Next, he claimed the place was extremely dirty, which was amusing since I had arranged for professional cleaning the day before and even took photos to prove it. When I asked him to send me pictures of the mess he mentioned, he conveniently claimed the app wouldn’t let him upload them. To make matters worse, he completely disregarded my house rules. I had one simple request: no shoes in the house. However, he and his guests walked around with their shoes on and left the place in disarray. Fortunately, I had a gut feeling this guest would be problematic, so I had already contacted Vrbo for guidance. I would not recommend hosting Jeffery. Avoid letting him stay at your property!

Pretty clean, no road noise but there is train somewhere near. Weird no shoes policy...wonder how the owner knows... Pros-two beds/bedrooms which meant two different mattresses choices, on firm and one soft. The location was pretty handy for getting around. Washer and dryer were a plus, we used them and they worked great. Cons-not a chair in the house, or hangers in any closets and only one spoon in the kitchen. 1/4 of a jar of regular coffee grounds but not a mug in the place. Had to drink out of mason jars, but they conduct heat pretty quickly.

The host was welcoming and the house was nice. There were not many plates or silverware and they were not in great condition. There was also a lack of dishwasher soap, toilet paper, hand towels and paper towel.
