Host was very friendly! The house was everything we wanted, perfect location close to town but far enough away for quiet. Loved being close to the state park! Also the large yard was great for the dog.

Diane and her husband Tom were very considerate guests. They communicated very well and went above and beyond to leave the place in great condition upon checkout. They followed all the rules in the guide book. I highly recommend renting to Diane.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because has space and is not in the city of Las Cruces. I also chose it because it is next to the State Park.

What makes this property unique

The landcaping. I took this .75 acre property and came of with a master design. I wanted to have a recreation area on one end so I put in a bocce ball court. On the opposite side, I wanted to have an RV space to host those travelling on the road. Then I connected it all with walking paths that curves through the property. Among the path I added rock mounds with cactus and several water features. To give it some dynamic I installed a hill with spiral walking path and a sunken fountain seating area. In the far corner, where the two rock walls meet, I constructed a patio with a custom gazebo made out of railroad ties. The whole thing has a southwestern vibe with a New Mexican twist.
