Escape to the Bay Loft, a cozy and inviting retreat designed for couples seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure. Nestled in nature, this charming loft offers everything you need for a memorable getaway.

Wake up to the sounds of nature, sip your morning coffee on the deck with comfortable seating, or take in breathtaking sunsets in the evening. Spend your days exploring the nature trail, paddling on the water with our free kayaks and canoe, or relaxing by the fire pit under the stars.

Enjoy outdoor fun with yard games, or prepare a delicious meal in the gazebo, complete with a grill and extra seating for dining al fresco.

Inside, the Bay Loft features one cozy bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a dorm-size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, griddle, plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, and grill tools—everything you need for simple, homey meals.

The living area provides a comfortable loveseat (with pull-out bed), rocking chairs, fireplace, TV, and board games for cozy evenings indoors. Air conditioning has been recently added to keep you cool and comfortable through the warmer months.

Enjoy the fall colors this October while paddling the bay or strolling through the trails with your special someone.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, relaxing on the deck, fishing & watching all the deer and birds! The loft is very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!

Cozy. Rustic. Private. Peaceful. We are grateful for the privacy and peacefulness and feel energized and recharged after 2 weeks here. Gracious hosts. Wildlife abounds. A private 'Green Circle' for walking. So many positives. We enjoyed coooking outside on the griddle and on the grill in the beautifully maintained private area provided for us.

Great stay in a wonderful location. The boat loft was very cozy and complete. The shower is a quite small but that's a function of the space available. The view is unbeatable - animal life, bird song and river breezes dominate and the balcony furnishings are incredibly comfortable. We spent most of our time sitting out there. The walk along the river is lovely and it is impossible not to relax. The host's phone number as listed in the unit led to a busy signal when we attempted to get in touch with a question but his wife's number worked. All in all an excellent value for a couples getaway.

The boathouse was everything it was described. It was cutesy, very comfortable, and had so many little extras. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. There was a very easy kayak entry launch. There was only 2 small mentions to this site to note, the drive back to the building is very narrow so I would not drive a dually truck back there,then on the other note there were mini ants in the kitchenette with no bait traps in site. Otherwise I would totally stay here again.

Excellent fishing ! I caught 6 species and 15 fish in my short stay. Right off the dock I landed Perch, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Common Carp and Channel Catfish. There are lots of big Bass back in that bay ! I got a 15 pound Common Carp and 8 pound Channel Catfish off the dock as my best catches at that spot. The trails on the peninsula led to another great spot under the power lines. I caught more Perch, large Suckers, and even more Channel Catfish, 2 more being 8 pounds each. Ther are many other shore fishing spots in the area, several being blow spillways. Food is just 4 minutes away at Rusty's. Very quiet, and secluded location ! I would recommend to people who enjoy fishing and people who don't !

Cozy little cabin for 2. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nothing fancy and that was OK. I would not do an extended stay as you have limited room in the refrigerator and a very small freezer. But for us and what we were doing in the area for 3 days it was perfect.We loved the trails connected to the property. It was very quiet with wildlife all around you.

We loved our stay at this beautiful spot! The loft is small but very clean and cute. It's a lovely place for one or two people. The surrounding property is just gorgeous! Beautiful view of the river and a relaxing yard area. If you are like us and prefer not to see the hosts, you do have to drive thru their driveway and past their house to get to the loft and they did come a couple times to use their boat but they were very nice and it was very private when you get back to the boat house. The beauty and peacefulness of the property was so wonderful that we would definitely go back again.

The view is great. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Coffee maker did not work properly and if you advertise a fire place it should be in working condition. We left a day early so we didn’t have to sleep on the bed.

Beautiful, private, quiet nature getaway on the Bay

The loft accommodations and amenities were very well planned and comfortable for the small space The porch and many lawn seating areas were all perfect to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, frog calls and multiple varieties of birds calls. Favorite sighting was the Green Heron that hung out on a branch just off the dock.We enjoyed the well groomed walking trails that follow the shoreline. The river is a quick paddle away. Our hosts were very nice and respected our privacy. I look forward to another getaway at this gem of a property.
