Great little place!

This place is clean and comfortable for a single traveler or couple who doesn’t need a lot, and a great homebase if you’re mostly out and about. Parking is on the street, but it’s a quiet, safe neighborhood. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be blessed by a visit from a cute grey kitty!

Noise coming through the walls, this was a garage turned into a room. Had to park on side of street. The bed was uncomfortable. I stayed 1 night out of 5 that was reserved. Would not recommend staying here:

Thank you for the feedback. For clarity for future guests: • The bed is high quality and was carefully selected to provide maximum comfort. • Street parking is clearly stated in the listing. The street is residential, very quiet, and considered safe. • The studio is a converted garage, which is accurately and transparently described in the listing description, along with updated photos. • Noise is generally minimal, and this is not a recurring concern among guests. We prioritize transparency so guests can make an informed decision before booking. Unfortunately, the space may not be the right fit for every personal preference.

This was a cute little space and well equipped for what it was, also in a nice neighborhood. I didn’t recall the listing say it was attached to someone’s residence so I did feel a bit odd and like we had to stay super quiet as we could also hear what was going on in the house. We had a very busy few days so it was more so just a place to rest our heads at night which made it a little better. I would definitely stay here again if we were in charlotte since I know now, it was a very cute and clean spot

Quiet and Close to Charlotte

I was in town recently promoting my books. In between events at bookstores, I wanted a quiet place to relax and recharge. I couldn't have picked a better spot. The neighborhood is very peaceful and centrally located, making it super easy to get to my destinations. I had everything I needed to fix a quick meal for evenings when I wanted to put my feet up. The space is thoughtfully designed and decorated. I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here two nights for a wedding and found this place to be everything we needed and wanted. Well furnished and decorated, cute neighborhood, clean and new, close enough to but removed from downtown. Host added a coat rack since the former review, which demonstrates a wonderful openness to enhance their property for guests. This place is a gem for the price.

Cozy but Lacking Minor Details

Overall stay was good. We planned a staycation to be closer to our formal event being held that weekend. The place was cozy and warm. It was very cold outside that weekend and the heating unit worked well. I was disappointed because we were informed a few hours before check in that only one car was allowed on the property and it had to be parked in front of the house on the street. This detail should have been listed in the description prior to booking. We were arriving at different times due to work schedules and had to make last minute adjustments to accommodate for only being able to have one vehicle. The studio had no closet or storage unit to hang our coats or formal wear. There were several hooks in the bathroom for towels etc and there was no iron or clothes steamer on the property. I did message the host to see if one was available but after an hour with no response I just decide to purchase one on my own. Overall average for the price
