The Middle House: Sophisticated and Comfortable
Located at the heart of downtown St. John’s, this 3 bedroom townhouse is true to the city’s character. Take an early morning stroll through Bannerman Park, just steps away. Wander around the historic streets while the city sleeps. Grab a morning coffee or treat at The Parlour on nearby Military Rd. Immerse yourself in the charm of this unique city. Then, come back home to relax and unwind.

Bannerman Park is just a 3 minute walk from the house. Bannerman park is the largest park in St. John's and includes a ballfield, playground, pool & splashpad, walking trails, open spaces to have a picnic or just relax and even an outdoor skating trail in the winter months.
The newly restored Colonial Building is just a 2 minute walk from the house. The Colonial Building is a provincial historic site that was built in 1850 and was home to Newfoundland and Labrador's Legislative Assembly. The building has recently underwent extensive renovations and now again open to the public for tours.
Signal Hill is a 6 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the house. Signal Hill is a very popular tourist destination for hiking and the beautiful views that can be seen from the lookout.
A lot of popular shops, restaurants and pubs can be found on Duckworth Street, Water Street and George Street. The walking distances to these streets from the house are:

Weekend getaway
Great house to rent well stocked perfect location and very responsive hosts. Beds are very comfortable and all the amenities you need for a great stay. Loved the fire pit in the evening.

The house was amazing. Clean, easy to find necessities provided, plenty of towels and cooking basics. The host was attentive to any questions we had. The house was also perfectly located to the downtown that we could comfortably walk to most places we needed to go. It was family friendly (we traveled with three generations, youngest was 7, oldest 70). Some of our travelers had never stayed in a VRBO and were so happy with the experience. I don’t have enough good things to say and we will definitely look to stay here again next time we come to town!Thank you so much for the wonderful place to stay.
