A true East Texas gem! Enjoyed every part of our stay. From the drive in,to the accommodations, to the beautiful sunset that it promised! This property is a home away from home! I will be visiting again. The hosts were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I give this five stars and if anybody is looking very nice retreat that accommodates many this is your house!

The property was as listed. Fantastic property and lake view. Just keep in mind the lake level is about 8 feet low. The only problem we had was the local dogs run free and are not pet friendly, we had to return our dogs back home because they were getting jumped on while we had them out for a walk on their leashes.

Wow what a gorgeous lake house and vacation. Covered parking for two but room for more cars. The basic supplies/amenities were provided by the host and we lacked nothing. The outdoor areas are pristine and oh so inviting to enjoy. Can’t beat the sunsets on that lake either. Somehow seven nights felt like not enough lol

We had a fantastic stay at this property! It is exceptionally well-maintained, and you can tell the owners take genuine pride in keeping everything in top shape—right down to freshly replaced deck boards and railings on the first level of the two-tier patio. Even during a significant drought, the lawn was kept green and watered, making it wonderful to walk barefoot or stroll with our dog.Inside, the home was spotless, organized, and very comfortable. All four bedrooms were generously sized with great bedding, and the furniture throughout was in excellent condition. Arriving to a thoughtful welcome basket filled with snacks alongside clear guides for the home and local area was a wonderful touch.The outdoor lake amenities truly made our trip. Having kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, and life jackets readily available allowed us to get straight out onto the water without extra hassle. We also deeply appreciated the outdoor misting/pest-control system, which kept mosquitoes at bay so we could actually relax and enjoy the patio in the evenings.Communication was seamless from start to finish—the hosts were prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful with every inquiry. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother, more relaxing getaway. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again!

We had an amazing time. The property was perfect for our group of 9. We made use of the kayaks and paddleboard, the fire pit and the grill. Everything worked perfectly. Communication with our host was great. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lake O The Pines Getaway

Was the perfect set up for our week of fishing. Would fish early, hand out on the deck during the day and fish again in the evening. Great home and great view from back deck.

Fishing Trip

House is well maintained and stocked. Room for vehicles, but tight with multiple boats if looking for a place to stay during a fishing tournament. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We made fond memories around the campfire and loved having the kayaks and paddle boards to use. Rick was a wonderful host and we are so thankful for family time!

We had such a wonderful time on our weekend here! I took my aunts down to the water to fish and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time even though the weather wasn’t cooperative.

This property was absolutely amazing for me and my family. Better than i even expected. I cant wait to come back again. I did not want to leave. Check in was super easy, plenty of parking area for my group. Only downfall was the wifi but it was not the host fault its just terrible wifi service in that area. No big deal!!

We were a group of 11 ranking from young adults to 81 years. The house never felt crowded. There is seating to eat for 14. The view is absolutely beautiful and calming. Young folks really enjoyed the paddle boat and 3 kayaks, nice kayaks. Life jackets were provided as well. Never felt one mosquito. They have automatic misting 3 times daily. Loved the covered area. The boys caught lots of little catfish from the bank. Water is shallow so good for little ones. The king size bed in master bed room is very high. I had to use a little ice chest for a step up. No kidding! It’s high. One thing I love was there were Kleenex everywhere. I suffer from allergies. The master bath shower has no grip bars or no mat in shower. Needs at least a mat. Only other small negative was there are only 2 dish towels. That is not enough Overall it was a fantastic stay and we already plan to go back next year. Again the view is wonderful and the house is very spacious. Oh, one other thing there is a fire pit with seating around for enjoying smores. Wood is provided. Lots of board games, books etc and even a ping pong table. 10 stars

This lake house exceeded every expectation! The location couldn't have been better—right on the water with easy access, making it perfect for swimming, fishing, or simply enjoying the view. The home was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was stocked with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The kitchen was well-appointed, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the home.One of our favorite features was the outdoor space. The large decks offered stunning waterfront views and were the perfect place for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The outside grill made cooking meals easy, and we spent so much time enjoying the fresh air.If you're looking for a comfortable, well-equipped lakefront getaway, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a great time at this property! The view and access to the lake was wonderful! Our host was great and if we had any issues they were addressed in a timely matter. The parking was ok for cars or trucks but not necessarily for a boat trailer. There were cornhole boards to use, a ping pong table, a paddle board and kayaks. We really enjoyed the back porch and the fan. The only negative thing I have to say is that the beds were not as comfortable as I am used to but I would highly recommend this property!

Why they chose this property

Crystal Cove is one of the most sought-after coves in east Texas. The house is at the end of the street with a private drive into the one of the quietest parts of the lake! The neighbors are amazing and the views stunning, not to mention the water front location

What makes this property unique

The original house - and the main feature - was a fishing cabin. The gorgeous living room and stone fireplace (pulled from the lake to make this beautiful piece of architecture) was of natural appeal to us. And the outdoor patio and deck are truly second to none on Lake O' The Pines. Once we added our custom firepit it sealed the deal for us.
