Braleys Bungalow is located on Lake O the Pines close to the Dam only a few hundred feet from a marina with a boat launch. Lake O The Pines is known for its great fishing; recreation; bird watching and duck hunting. The property offers a large private dock for your leisure. Amenities include: fully furnished kitchen (bring your own food), microwave, washer & dryer, flat screen TV with Dish Network and blue ray DVD player, outdoor grill, outdoor fire pit, screened in back porch with large deck, two bedrooms and two baths. It is located only 11 miles from Historic Jefferson, TX, 60 miles from Shreveport, LA, and 30 miles to Longview, TX. Only a 15 minute drive to Historic Jefferson which provides shopping in antique shops or shops that provide one of a kind items, horse-drawn narrated carriage rides, homemade fudge shop, Blackburn's Syrup Outlet store, museum full of historic memorabilia, Jefferson General Store, riverboat rides down the bayou, train ride on Historic Jefferson Railway, Ghost Walk Tours, numerous gift shops and delicious restaurants providing variety of food from Joseph's Riverport Barbecue, The Hamburger Store, Lamaches, Kits Kornbread, The Franchise, Knightlight Theatre, and other restaurants to satisfy your hunger. Tours are available for Historic homes. Also available nearby is canoe rental to float down Big Cypress Bayou. Hidden Paradise

A beautiful view of the lake and nature surrounding the porches. Jackie and Johnny were wonderful host. The house has everything you need. Screened and unscreened porches provide the perfect place for a cup of coffee and relaxing. Will definitely recommend and will be back ourselves.

FANTASTIC!!!

Anniversary weekend

We enjoyed our weekend. Went into Jefferson a couple of times. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. It was very relaxing. The hosts were excellent.

This is the best place on the water on Lake O Pines Big Cypress Marina Jefferson Tx Great fishing your own Personal dock Spacious rental every room u look out to the lake ..Sunsets breathtaking Very clean and the screened porch large deck in plus in the cove Thank You Jackie and Johnny for being the best hosts making sure we had all we needed all the time Ive now made a friend for life and shes a treasure just like her place Love ya thank you again we will always come back

My husband and I LOVED our time at Bradley's bungalow!

The views look like a Hallmark card. The entire place is so clean and inviting. Jackie & Johnny are wonderful hosts and provide everything you need to have a great time at the lake. We enjoyed the great fishing so much. We can't wait to go back to this wonderful spot again!

Hidden Gem

The Bungalow is a hidden gem on Lake O' the Pines! We stayed for a THSBA fishing tournament. The location was perfect, with a boat ramp close by and a dock right outside the bungalow the boys were able to sleep a little longer before getting out on the water. Jackie, the host even made good luck bags for the boys and boat captain! This was is probably the cleanest, most organized short term rental I've stayed in. It was even decorated with the cutest touches for fall. My 10 year old loved it so much he asked if we could rent it for some time next summer. Jefferson is just 15 minutes away and of course the lake is at your doorstep. 10 out of 10 recommend staying here for a fun, relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life!

We Enjoyed Our Stay!

The lake house was everything we wanted it to be. We had a wonderful time. The house is set up for families. We had space to spread out and plenty of room to sit down together, to eat meals and to play games. Our grandchildren were happy campers. They waded in the lake, fished off the dock and caught frogs in the front yard. This is a great place for family fun.

The most relaxing weekend I have ever had!!

My family and I stayed at the bungalow for mother’s day weekend, Mrs. Jackie and her family were so generous! They gave all the moms on the trip a little mother’s day gift. We had everything we could have possibly needed for a perfect weekend! We have already reserved it for another weekend and I know we will a lot more! What a wonderful family!

Perfect location, cleanest place I have ever stayed

This was the perfect halfway point to meet our friends who moved to Louisiana. We spent a wonderful weekend cooking our meals, sitting in the yard looking at the gorgeous lake, and toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. It was fabulous. There's plenty of room to spread out and two full bathrooms was a necessity for us. The bedrooms are a tad awkward as you have to walk through both bedrooms to get from one end of the house to the other. it was never an issue, but could've been weird if all didn't go to bed or wake up at about the same time. But if you're looking for a quiet getaway on a beautiful lakefront, this is it!

Enjoyable weekend

Jackie should be inducted into the Host Hall of Fame. What a wonderful host! We lacked for nothing during our stay. She really takes care of her guest. The property is very comfortable and homey. Very livable. Between the large deck and the screen porch there is no excuse to not enjoy the outdoors. You can sit for hours and watch the wildlife. And the fishing off the pier is great, particularly if you're more into catching than fishing. No trophies but a wide variety and lots of fun. Highly recommend.

Biggest little cabin ever!

We had a great time! We stay in a lot of VRBO properties, and this was one of the best. The cabin was clean, neat and well stocked. The sheets were high quality, there were extra pillows, blankets and plenty of towels. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you needed down to the grilling tools. The Screened porch is amazing and the decor was perfect. Every room has windows looking out on the lake. There were lots of "little touches" like full squirrel and bird feeders, additional fans, and plenty of supplies like an ice chest full of ice, multiple trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. The location and the large dock are perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The water is deep and perfect for jumping in! Our kids had a blast. There is also a ladder to get in and out of the water with ease. It is located in a no wake zone just past the marina in a quiet little cove. The owners are super sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this cabin. It was the perfect little getaway!

Aniversary Supprise!

The owners are the nicest people I have ever rented from! They were super helpful at attending to our needs. They made us feel very welcome. There were two families in our group. Seven people total with the kids. Walking threw the bed rooms to access the living room and kitchen was a little strange at first, but we adjusted. The lake access was a great bonus. Very accurately advertised. The rental was clean and well maintained. Its a little drive to shop, but we came to visit friends and relax so it worked very well for us! Great large areas to entertain. We had 23 people at the house multiple times. We cooked and fed everyone multiple times with lots of room to spare. The kitchen was fully furnished. Cooking spices, pot, pans, and all the utensils. We would definitely rent it again!
