Braleys Bungalow is located on Lake O the Pines close to the Dam only a few hundred feet from a marina with a boat launch. Lake O The Pines is known for its great fishing; recreation; bird watching and duck hunting. The property offers a large private dock for your leisure. Amenities include: fully furnished kitchen (bring your own food), microwave, washer & dryer, flat screen TV with Dish Network and blue ray DVD player, outdoor grill, outdoor fire pit, screened in back porch with large deck, two bedrooms and two baths. It is located only 11 miles from Historic Jefferson, TX, 60 miles from Shreveport, LA, and 30 miles to Longview, TX. Only a 15 minute drive to Historic Jefferson which provides shopping in antique shops or shops that provide one of a kind items, horse-drawn narrated carriage rides, homemade fudge shop, Blackburn's Syrup Outlet store, museum full of historic memorabilia, Jefferson General Store, riverboat rides down the bayou, train ride on Historic Jefferson Railway, Ghost Walk Tours, numerous gift shops and delicious restaurants providing variety of food from Joseph's Riverport Barbecue, The Hamburger Store, Lamaches, Kits Kornbread, The Franchise, Knightlight Theatre, and other restaurants to satisfy your hunger. Tours are available for Historic homes. Also available nearby is canoe rental to float down Big Cypress Bayou. They had everything comfortable and the cutest welcome sign.Only reason why i am not giving it a five is because of the location getting there.Looking out all the windows to the water was beautiful.

Perfect Weekend Stay

The hosts are absolutely amazing and so kind! I mentioned my son graduating is why we rented the place and the host bought him a little gift which he loved! The place was clean, smelt amazing, they had a huge cooler of ice for us, games and a ping pong table, beautiful view, and plenty of fish to catch by the dock! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway!

The property is on the lake in a nice quiet community. The owners were really nice and helpful. This is a great getaway place for fishing trips on lake o pines. The house was clean and no issues. I’ll definitely be back

Hidden Paradise

A beautiful view of the lake and nature surrounding the porches. Jackie and Johnny were wonderful host. The house has everything you need. Screened and unscreened porches provide the perfect place for a cup of coffee and relaxing. Will definitely recommend and will be back ourselves.

My family and I have booked this listing 5 times and it never disappoints, it's got a beautiful view and a nice dock for fishing. Jackie is an amazing host and her property is a gem!!!
