Great place. Clean and cozy cottage. Loved sitting out by the lake and the porch (when it was raining). The cottage had everything we needed. So nice just to relax.

These cabins have a rustic look, but are updated and clean. They are small- a family of 5 is about the limit, but they did enclose the covered porches this year and that provided additional space. Note that there is no washer or dryer available, so you will need to hit the laundromat if you are staying for an extended time. Rachel is very good at communication so that helps a lot. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful location. Right on Thayer Lake. The cabin was beautiful and looked like it had completely been remodeled inside. Many extra amenities and the sheets were so soft! We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Quiet, cozy and clean. We spent 5 days and enjoyed every day. The lake was beautiful and it was so much fun using the kayaks. We made a fire one night, wood was available for purchase at the going area rate. Marshmallow roasting sticks were provided.

Friends get away

The cottage was perfect for our get away. It was windy and cold so we did a shopping tour of the towns around the lakes and wine tasting. We did a little kayaking. Great Lake for that. Had a little bon fire. This is great place to stay.

Cozy Cabin

We had a great time at the cabin. It was clean and well stocked. The lake was quiet and kids enjoyed swimming and fishing. Great location close to town. We used fire pits for night time s’mores. Shared water access worked good for us and we enjoyed the kayaks and dock on property. Communicate with host was prompt and helpful. Hope to come back again!

The cabin location was excellent, with beautiful views/access to Thayer Lake and very close access to Alden and Torch Lake. The only negative is that the cabin was quite small for a family of four to share and lacked space for all our stuff. It's nicely updated but could use a new front door that might go a long way towards keeping the bugs out better. (I get that staying at a lake comes with bugs!)
