Wonderful family friendly home where the owners love to spend time creating special memories with their children and young grandchildren and wish the same for their rental guests! This charming, updated three bedroom, two bath ranch style home has a spacious family room, beautifully tiled bathroom and laundry closet, and fresh paint and beautiful tile throughout! The fully equipped kitchen was recently updated to include granite counters and a dishwasher. To add to the homey feel there is a large screen TV in the great room; new ceiling fans in every room; new bedding in all bedrooms; and a fully renovated enclosed outside shower on back of home. Cable and Wi-Fi included. Washer and Dryer. Linens included. Wi-Fi. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Overall good

Overall it was a good experience. A few things to note.. we stay on the island at least twice a year for the last 6 years we love it and we really loved the location of this property. In all of the places I stayed I’ve never had a property be set on 80 degrees when we arrived. It made the space feel stagnant and stuffy. It made for a terrible first impression. The inside definitely could have been more updated. Also the beds… obviously you never expect luxury when staying at a rental but this was kids camp bad. So bad that on the last two nights my husband and I slept in the living room on the chair and sofa because it was so uncomfortable. Lastly there was several things left in the closets from I would only guess previous renters which made us all a little nervous.. like how well was the place cleaned if those things were left. Again overall it was a good experience but could have been excellent..

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every mattress in this house needs replaced. It should not be on the market with the current mattresses. My daughter was achy and myself every day at this home. The cooking supplies, namely pans etc. are inadequate. Many pans were dirty- tell the need a deeper scrub. They are old and barely functional. The yard and roof need cleaned up....sticks everywhere. Parking was inadequate for fam of 4 cars. we were asked to park on gravel under a huge tree that leaks leaves, sticks etc. The location was fabulous.

Wonderful Girls Trip!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this house for me and 5 friends for a past due vacation! We came down from Pennsylvania and the check in process was seamless upon arrival! Staff was friendly and accommodating. The house is perfect for friends. We didn’t have to share beds! Bonus! The distance to walk to the beach is like 5 minutes from driveway to toes in the sand. Bring your own beach towels and chairs and things as these weren’t provided. The neighborhood felt safe day and night and the “Main Street” with the bars and restaurants is a little too far to walk so plan to drive. Uber was not an option. No cars available. The coffeemaker was left not cleaned and appeared to have mold inside the water tank. I contacted Island Realty and a new coffeemaker was delivered that afternoon! Clean and new. Very fast service in my opinion. The house itself was nice and spacious! There were ample seating spaces for all of us girls. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glasses and plenty of cooking utensils. Make sure you bring your toilet paper and things you’ll need for taking snacks to the beach. I brought a couple extra garbage bags and toilet paper and paper towels. We only wished there had been a gas grill to cook up some burgers and dogs after beach time! Floors were a bit dirty so I’d suggest Island Realty check up on the cleaners to ensure everything is up to standard expectations. The guests are expected to wash the things they use but I would have some inspection requirement for dishes and appliances to be sure the next guests are getting a fully clean start. Overall we were all happy with our choice foe this rental and the agency. We would definitely stay again and book through Island Realty.

It is an older home and it could have been slightly cleaner due to finding some fake lashes on the floor. Overall I would recommend although we did not cook anything on the premises.

The freezer had a completely rusted shelf making the freezer unusable and unsafe.The floors were not especially clean and candy was behind a recliner,It lacked a proper vacuuming. Window sills had dead bugs.If it were not for the above we would of otherwise enjoyed the home.

The only issue we had is the bed in the "master" was extremely low and uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on one of the twins in the connecting room. The most comfortable beds are in the room with the bunk beds but that's where the kids wanted of course which left odd sleeping arrangements for adults. Spacious and loved the family room. Outside needed some TLC but that may be due to construction across the street. Would book again but make kids move rooms :)

There was a broken dining chair which we reported immediately and they can the next day to take it away. As far as cleanliness, it depends on what your idea of clean should be. It was clean yes, but dusting items and some areas could be done better. Beds were in good shape but a bit hard for some guests. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Nice and quiet neighborhood to unwind. We loved it!

It was clean, well maintained, and in a great location close to the beach. This home is not the newest, fanciest, or biggest, but it worked perfectly for our family. It had everything we needed and everything was set up just right for us. I would highly recommend this property for any family looking for a rental that is a two minute walk to the water, but yet much more affordable than some newer, larger rentals. We would book this home again without hesitation.

The only detractor was the heating system's thermostats were restricted to 72 degrees which was a bit too cold for one of our party.
