Chalet Buchille, a pretty chalet in a convenient location in Morzine

ABOUT THE CHALET:
Chalet Buchille provides a rare combination of superb views, excellent accommodation and a very convenient position. The centre of Morzine and the Super Morzine ski lift in Winter and the Swimming Pool in summer are just ten minutes' walk (800 metres) away from the chalet.

The chalet is of modern construction and has been furnished to a very high standard throughout. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences and there is wifi throughout. The dining area has seating for 8 and also a seating area around a wood burning fire which is a real delight after a hard day's skiing or hiking! From this room large doors give access to the balcony which runs around the chalet and from which there are truly superb views of Morzine and the mountains beyond.

There is a lovely sitting room which easily seats 8 people and has a Smart TV.

Ski access: The centre of Morzine and the Super Morzine ski lift are just ten minutes' walk (800 metres) away from the chalet.

Alternatively the free ski bus stops right outside the chalet and takes you to the Ardent lift in under 15 minutes. This telecabine takes you directly into the heart of the Avoriaz ski area and is the best way to get on the slopes. The bus will also drop you very close to the chalet on the way back if you wish to come this way. Ardent can also be reached by car and there is ample car parking there.

Bedroom Configuration: This chalet has 4 lovely bedrooms;

First floor:
- a double room
- twin/double

Main floor:
- one twin/double room situated on the ground floor next to a spacious shower-room and a separate WC

Ground floor (accessed via exterior of chalet): another studio twin/double bedroom (with newly renovated private bathroom)

There is a large private garden for guests to use as well as a covered carport and garage for storing equipment etc

Great Chalet

Stayed at Chalet Buchille for a week over Christmas. Chalet was perfect, had everything we needed and easy access to both Super Morzine and Ardent. Great views of the mountains. Ski hire and lift passes all organised for us so we were ready to ski. Would definitely recommend

Chalet vraiment parfait ! Très bien placé, très propre, bien équipé. Proche du centre de Morzine avec un grand terrain. Parfait pour un groupe d’ami ! Deux petites remarques : comme le logement est autorisé aux chiens un terrain entièrement cloturé serait préférable; et le coin salon a l’étage est petit pour 8 personnes. Sinon tout était top ! L’arrivée autonome est très bien. Nous reviendrons

lovely location and chalet- poor in-resort service. Transfers were excellent.

We enjoyed our stay very much in Chalet Buchille but we were not impressed by the in-resort service. I am writing this review as I feel that this should significantly improve for future clients. Our resort manager was meant to come to see us on the first night ( this was communicated to us on the speakerphone in the transfer bus) and did not turn up when we were waiting to go out to eat with our children. The manager did drop in some towels and sheets when we rang her. The beds were not made up as requested and there were no sheets on the bed downstairs. We had to empty the bin ourselves, on the first night, for the bathroom downstairs which really was not acceptable. The toilet paper stock was extremely limited which was disappointing given how much money we were paying to stay. The resort manager came to collect the security deposit on our second last night which really should have been sorted out the first night. Overall however the holiday was lovely and the chalet location was perfect. The transfers were excellent from the Farmhouse team.

Ideal for us

The property is about 10 mins walk from Morzine bars. Not a problem to us as ideal for a few beers straight after the slopes. Cook some food as the facilities were excellent and have a good bottle of wine. Far superior than paying french bar prices. There is a friendly bar down the road which does food and a small supermarket next door. I would stay in the chalet again! Mark
