The town of Acworth is beyond amazing and the trails and downtown area close by were adored. Deer came into the yard and my daughter was in total awe! We will definitely stay at Acworth again but not would choose this home for the price, neighbor house that looks abandoned and cockroach/hot water issues.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed Acworth, the nearby trails, downtown, and especially the deer visiting the yard! We do want to clarify a couple of the concerns mentioned in the review. Regarding the bug, the photo sent to us showed what appeared to be an outdoor water bug, which is very common in Georgia and can occasionally make its way indoors. As soon as it was brought to our attention, we offered to have our pest control company come to the property to address the concern, but we did not receive a response to that offer. The neighboring home mentioned in the review is not owned or managed by us, so unfortunately its appearance and upkeep are completely outside of our control. We take concerns at our property seriously and are always willing to address anything that comes up during a guest’s stay. We simply ask that we be given the opportunity to do so. We appreciate the feedback and are glad your family enjoyed everything the Acworth area has to offer.

Very clean and cute home, convenient to I-75 and downtown Acworth. The room with the bunkbeds would be great for kids, there are even toys there for them to play with! Would rent again!

Christmas in Acworth

Our family had a fantastic stay. The property was exactly what we wanted - cozy -great community and the woods out back gave us great entertainment with the deer. Sitting by the fire out back and making smores was a so much fun. Location to downtown Acworth was great and the dining options were excellent - Excellent place to stay!

Property was well appointed. Literally had every little oddsy endsy thing we ended up needing. Property owner was very responsive with questions. Neighborhood was older but honestly, I felt safe... which is the biggest concern for me when traveling. Even had a mama deer with twins hanging out in the backyard. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent place!

Such a peaceful place. Easy check in process. It was very clean and the host has it decorated so nice you feel like you’re at home. It was perfect for my little “just because” get away. 10/10 recommend and if I ever stay in the area again will most definitely stay here!

Exactly what we wanted

Absolutely loved the property. Stayed for a bachelorette trip and the bride wanted a place that felt like home away from home. It was exactly the vibe we were looking for and great distance from stores when we needed to grab groceries. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Great area to be outside or go for a stroll. Communication with the host was perfect, responded in a timely manner and accommodated us.

Lovely

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was adorable. Very family friendly, as well as pet friendly. There is a secure fenced area for your dogs. There is plenty of parking. The area and the neighborhood was peacful and serene, especially after traveling thru Atlanta. I would highly recommend, and hope to stay there again some day.

Wedding party

This was a great place. Wonderful location, clean and very accessible to our venue. We did have a few minor hiccups. There were lights that didn’t work in a bedroom, lots of carpenter bees on the front porch, and the lights and fans were difficult to operate in the living room.

Cute house and they did a pretty good job on the remodel. Unfortunately the backyard has zero grass and was just a big mud pit, plus there are shards of broken glass in the backyard, likely from the remodel, so we were not able to use it for our dogs and this was the primary feature that made us choose this property so we were disappointed. There were also no washcloths and only one hand towel between two bathrooms so we ended up at Walmart to buy our own. The area is great and very convenient, and the house is a good size and layout. Overall we were happy with it aside from the yard and towel situation.

Overall, this is a fine stay, especially if you're mostly out at the lake enjoying yourself. Detail wise, the house needs a lot of work and you can tell it was quickly remodeled to use for a rental purpose.Here are some things we noticed that could use improvement:Master bathroom sink when turned to good flow spurt water everywhere on counterKitchen sink water pressure weakShower curtain in guest bathroom fell on my friendRust and HAIR in guest bathroom showerMaster toilet running pump, had to wiggle it to stop running*Exterior front porch and grill area near garage needs to be cleaned! The spider webs were everywhere and made taking pictures outside very uncomfortable. It's a very woody neighborhood, so cleaning service needs to service the exterior of the house too.

The place was nice and clean. Plenty of space for sleeping. The master bed was fabulous to sleep on. Very easy to get in touch with the host when we ran into a problem. Which there were only a few minor details i personally found to be annoying.. the coffee pot was broken, but she ordered one and we picked it up the next morning along with supplies that were needed in the kitchen such as sponges for cleaning, dish soap, spray for cleaning the counter tops etc.. also the soaps and shampoos in the restrooms were watered down so much that it took 10-15 pumps to get a good lather for your hair to be washed so bring your own or expect watery soaps.. could use a few more utensils especially for larger groups. The grill outside needed desperate cleaning but no way to clean it so we cooked our burgers inside. .. other than those few minor things this was a winner and a wonderful place to stay and we'll definitely be back next year to stay again. Would recommend..

My family booked this home for 5 nights. I hate to leave a bad review. We book vacation homes very frequently and always read reviews to help us get as much info on home we plan on booking. So many reviews said “cleanliness” in this home which to our surprise was NOT!! Black mold on shower curtain. Build up of soap scum, dirty LR rug with stains all over and a very strong smell as though trying to cover up an odor. Very “ unclean” we could not even spend 1 night in this home. The host who apparently lives in another state was extremely unaccommodating though she admitted the ball was definitely dropped on their side.We needed to open up a case with VRBO and they are investigating to get a refund because the host would do nothing at all except offer to refund the cleaning fee. So absurd!!
