Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — The Nob Hill / Alphabet District is one of Portland's most walkable neighborhoods. NW 23rd and NW 21st avenues are lined with restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and bars.
🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 15 (Belmont/NW 23rd) runs along NW 23rd Avenue with frequent service to downtown.
🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share is available in Portland; check its map for current nearby bikes and stations.
🚗 Driving — Street parking is available (read signs for time limits and meters). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is another option.
✈️ Airport — PDX is reachable by car or MAX Red Line; check TriMet’s trip planner for connections from the neighborhood.
Other Things to Note:
The home sits behind the NW 21st storefronts and shares a wall with a bar. Business/street noise and outside lights can be noticeable, and downstairs bed frames can creak. Steps are required, and the loft has low, sloped ceilings. Keep belongings indoors rather than leaving them unattended on the patio.
There is no reserved parking; paid curb spaces have posted time limits and meter rules. Plan to use one shower at a time, as simultaneous use can reduce upstairs water pressure.
