Wonderful place
We were in town for my daughters wedding, had multiple generations staying and the house was great! Beds were good, kitchen had everything we needed, toys for the kids and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Gary showed us around the house when we got there, didn’t see him for the rest of our stay. Overall, great experience!
The house was great! It came well equipped with everything we needed (or could have thought of). Gary, the host, seems to go above and beyond for his guests. We thoroughly enjoyed the front yard and porch as well. Everything was well taken care of and made for a very enjoyable stay!

Loved this house - lots of character and the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever experienced. Comfortable in every way and ideal location for us. Owner super helpful and easy to contact. There were 7 of us - 3 generations - worked well.

If you are going to visit Portland Oregon with a group this place is strategically located to Moda Center, grocery and fast food chain. The space is large enough for your group to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you God bless and more powers.

Comfy and well-stocked.
We loved our stay in this home. Each bed was so comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our group. I’ve never stayed in a rental that was so well stocked. Gary has thought of everything you might need, and keeps it clean and welcoming. Highly recommend.
It felt like staying at grandma’s house in the best possible way. Beds were the most comfy I’ve ever experienced in a rental. Gary has thought of everything. Loved it! Would rent again.

Awesome
Beautiful house. Hot tub access was wonderful. Gary was super hospitable for us. 10/10
We visited Portland for a wedding weekend. Our family was very comfortable with comfy beds, plenty of towels and a nice large kitchen and living space. Easy access to everything! Thanks Gary for being a easy to reach & work with host!
We had a wonderful visit to this house while on a work trip. Take advantage of the earplugs if the neighbors are hosting a friendly party in their back yard, though.
Spacious and well equipped to handle our group. The area was great, close to essentials and walkable to pubs, restaurants and shops. There was a closet full of games and movies as well which we enjoyed on a night in. We were surprised to find that out the owner lives in the basement of the house but we actually never saw him and it didn’t impact our stay. I had just assumed the “completely separate unit” was more separate.

Shared from the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to share your review Marielle. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and we're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the location and amenities. Just to clarify, in accordance with the regulations in the city of Portland, it is required for either the owner or a long-term tenant to live on-site for at least 270 days a year for all short-term rentals. This is an important guideline that helps ensure the safety and compliance of all our listings. Wishing you all the best in your future travels!"
My family and I stayed at this property for 7 days in mid June. The house worked great for our group which included 3 couples, 4 single women, and one infant (15 mos.). My mother who is 86, slept in one of the beds upstairs and was able to get up and down the stairs although they are rather steep and narrow. The house was in very good condition and the kitchen was well appointed and worked out well for our group although no large dinners were prepared. Gary, the owner, was very responsive and helpful and check in and out was easy. The location is one block off of MLK Blvd and like most residential areas in east Portland the parking on the streets is limited although there are two spaces on the property with a steep driveway. The house is located within a short drive of many areas on Mississippi, Killingsworth and Alberta with restaurants we enjoy and 1/2 block from Starbucks and a Safeway grocery store. I would rent this property again for a large group.

Thank you Darold for your positive review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. As you mentioned, the home is within twelve blocks of four trendy commercial districts (the Alberta Arts District, Williams District, Historic Mississippi District and the Dekum Triangle) with many bars, restaurants, music venues and art galleries, including the nationally famous Pine State Biscuits and Salt and Straw. It was a pleasure having you and your family and you are welcome back anytime!
