Just returned from a wonderful stay in this apartment. The property manager was a lovely lady and explained to us everything we needed to know. The property was clean a spacious with a wonderful view of the sea.The pool was great for the 4 year old we had with us. We will definitely be going back.

Great accommodation in a great location

Lovely three bed apartment with all the facilities, including a nice communal swimming pool. The beach and lots of nice bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. A railway line is nearby, but trains were relatively infrequent and didnt interfere with our stay.

The owner was always ready to help you when you need. This is the 5th or 6th time i was at S. Martinho and it was the best house i have been till now. If i can i Will come back here

Immaculate apartment. Great location.

Property is immaculate. Really well decorated and great facilities incl. pool table, UK TV and wireless internet. Owner is incredibly helpful. Silver Coast has a real old fashioned unspoilt charm. Great for families. If you like the area I would absolutely recommend this apartment

Needs updating but spacious and clean

Nice apartment with balconies and a fantastic swimming pool. In need of new sofas and a king size mattress to match the size of the bed. A new coat of paint would not go a miss.

Pre-Season Experience

The month of May 2022 was our stay at the apartment, and we used it as a "headquarter" to explore more of Portugal. Perfect weather (1 day rain for 3-4 hours) made us enjoy many trips up and down the Silver Coast and also East of Sao Martinho do Porto. Having such a great place as home base for all the excursions was priceless. Coming home and relax after, with a glass of Sangria, and then enjoy the countless Restaurants with their excellent food, it was vacation as you would wish for every time. Thanks Philip for letting us stay in your home. HP

Fantastic large apartment

Our family of 3 had a brilliant 2 weeks staying at Phil's apartment. The apartment is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It is in a superb location on the edge of town but minutes away from the beach and all the restaurants. The town of Sao Martinho do Porto is a very pretty place with enough amenities to satisfy a 2 week stay. There are plenty of different restaurants to choose from although we did end up visiting our favourite, Portobello, on 3 separate occasions. The weather was not wall-to-wall sunshine for our first few days but this enabled us to visit a few nearby places, all of which I would re-visit again. Highlights were Nazare, Obidos, Lisbon and Buddha Eden. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area. We would stay there again without hesitation. Summer Holiday 2010.

An excellent apartment both from the facilities and the position within the resort. A well maintained, modern apartment with all the facilities you could want (and more!). We had an extended family holiday for 6 (with 3 children) and there was more than enough room for all with a good selection of equipment for use. The apartment was very clean and the holiday management company used were excellent and responded very quickly to any queries. The owner provided good communication throughout the booking period and the information within the apartment was most useful also. The pool complex was large and not overcrowded even in the peak season and was both well maintained with a clean pool environment. The location of the apartment was ideal for travel to Lisbon and the airport, but we also found a wealth of interesting places to visit within a short distance; we did have a hire vehicle but the local transport for trains and buses looked good also. The resort was excellent with a clean beach and a host of good quality restaurants to chose from - the fish is highly recommended! A highly recommended apartment and resort.

Great View but Updates Needed

This apartment is on the third floor with a fabulous view of the bay in Sao Martinho do Porto. During our entire stay wireless internet was not available which cost us $100 to do International Roaming. There is a room on the top floor which I assume is the Games Room that was prominently featured in photos but we were not given a key to access it. The property is in need of updating. The couch in the Lounge has crumbling leather that gets all over the floor and on your clothes. Its cushions are worn out too. The main bathroom has a vanity with rotting wood and rusty towel rods. The bath tub is pulling away from the wall. With a little TLC, this could be a nice property. The owner provided us with great suggestions for visiting nearby historic sites. We enjoyed Obidos, Batalha and Alcobaça. We also enjoyed Fátima and a Natural Park near it with dinosaur footprints.

Das Appartment ist im 3. Stock mit Aufzug und tollem Meerblick in 2. Reihe zum Meer, ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Die Kommunikation war super, man erhält umfangreiche Infos und Empfehlungen. Vor Ort ist Teresa sehr nett und auskunftsfreudig. Sie kümmert sich um alles und geht bei Bedarf sogar für die Gäste Einkaufen. Phil war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar. Kleinere Mängel bei der Sauberkeit wurden sofort behoben, nachdem wir darüber informiert haben, und haben den insgesamt tollen Urlaub nicht getrübt. Das kleine Geschenk für uns hat alles abgerundet. Den großen Pool haben wir gar nicht gebraucht. Die Bahnlinie und der Bahnhof stören überhaupt nicht, obwohl sie direkt neben dem Gebäude verlaufen und wir einen sehr leichten Schlaf haben, haben wir nichts davon mitbekommen. Die Tiefgarage würden wir nicht mehr nutzen (steile Abfahrt, Gefahr aufzusetzen), stattdessen haben wir am Straßenrand der ruhigen und sicheren Gegend geparkt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal kommen.

Die Wohnung war sehr hell und gemütlich zwei Balkone, einer Richtung Meer ihr könnt schöne Sonnenaufgänge 🌅 und Untergänge ins Meer geniessen! Pool gepflegt und sauber, sowie eine ruhige Lage.

Apartamento con vistas excelentes y acogedor.

Apartamento situado en pocos metros de la playa (desde la terraza se ve la playa), tiene piscina comunitaria con hamacas y sombrillas gratis. Tiene un amplio aparcamiento. Disfrutamos de la cocina con terraza bien equipada, un sofá cama y una habitación con una litera y una cama nido. Las habitaciones son amplias. Aunque puedes disfrutar del paseo marítimo que se encuentra muy cerca. En resumen, unas vacaciones a gusto y con todo lo que buscábamos para mí, mi marido y mis tres hijos. Gracias a Teresa y a Philip por su atención. Y gracias también por la botella de vino ( obsequio de la casa). Un abrazo.

Lage top, möbel dürften mal gewechselt werden

Sao Martinho do Port ist wunderschön und toll! Die lage der wohnung liegt genau am bahnhof, diesen hört man jedoch nicht wenn die fenster zu sind. Die möbel in der wohnung dürften jetzt mal gewechselt werden. Das gestell vom bett ist klapprig und das sofa „durchgenuddelt“ Scheint so als ob in der Wohnung Schimmel war und behandelt wurde, das hat spuren hinterlassen. Darf also auch mal übergestrichen werden. Es stand drinne das Klopapier, müllsäcke etc zur verfügung stehen, dies war nicht der Fall. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Teresa qui grasse a elle à été à notre écoute quand au propriétaire il faut surtout rien lui demander a peine arrivé l'ascenseur est tombé en panne mon épouse étant handicapé pour les escaliers j'ai envoyé SMS au propriétaire 4 jours après je n'ai toujours pas reçu de réponse j'ai envoyé SMS à Teresa qui à réagi de suite je trouve cela très incorrect en temps que propriétaire pour ces clients Teresa parle Un peu le français ça été super mais je ne reviendrai pas chez lui
