Large, spacious, light-filled home with 600+ feet of private lake front on 11 acres of woods & meadow. Views of both sunrise and sunset from the lakeside deck and terraced lawn. Immerse yourself in nature with uninterrupted lakefront, a meadow with a mowed path, woods, fruit trees, wildflowers, and the best fishing on Lake Champlain right at your feet.

Boat mooring available! Also available: one canoe, one kayak, one SUP.

Our family's lakefront, year-round, air-conditioned home is the perfect place for your family's vacation – relax, unwind, spend time with family & friends surrounded by nature in every direction.

With two decks, a large downstairs suite, open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen and three additional bedrooms upstairs (including a sleeping loft), you and your friends will have plenty of space to spread out for quiet time and gather together for meals.

Our lakefront deck is equipped with a dining table (optional umbrella), lounge chairs, and a Weber gas grill. Plug in the strung outdoor lights for a picture-perfect summer evening. Step off the deck onto our raised grass terrace is lined Adirondack chairs for lounging, chatting, &watching the sun rise or set. Grass terrace, lawn, and meadow are all perfect for your fave lawn sports.

Relax in the hammock, dangle your toes from the dock, go for a dip, paddle along the shoreline, or wander through the meadow – this magical property will absolutely capture your heart.

End each evening with s'mores around the campfire and watch the stars and fireflies twinkle to life.

Fam movie night is easy! Our living room has a large, cozy couch and a 55" HDTV with built-in Roku.

Forget your book? Our home is filled with them! From classic summer beach reads to classic lit to local history books. Puzzles, games, and children's toys and books are also readily available.

We had a wonderful family reunion at this lovely lakeside home. We enjoyed the spcious property, easy entance for our kayaks and the hosts' boats. Two of us drove into Canada for a wine tour, and we all enjoyed reading on the back deck. We all enjoy cooking and apprviated the well-furnished kitchen I highly recommend this place!

The property makes you feel like you have the whole lake to yourself. Completely private and secluded. This property is the perfect escape to get away from reality and relax. The yard is massive, and waterfront is endless. It was our first time on Champlain so it may be local knowledge I wasn’t aware of (for those bringing boats), but all boats are moored with the weather patterns and wind the lake is known for for the safety of your equipment and the dock. The property has a mooring bouy and a dingy to get out to it, and the boat launch is a 2 minute drive from the property making it a breeze to get on and off the water if mooring isn’t for you. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made it easy to just show up and get straight to enjoying the lake. We will 100% be back again. Thank you!!

I am tempted to try and keep this lovely retreat a secret to ensure that it will be available whenever we would like to return. But that would be ungenerous and not very Vermont of me.The property delights from the moment you turn into the long driveway and wend your way through the meadow, past fruit trees, and into the woods that shield the house from the road. Then the moment you emerge, greeted by the first sight of the house and its sunny, welcoming orange door. Because it was August, our initial impression also included beds of black eyed susans in full bloom.Open the door and you are met immediately with sweeping views of the lake through a wall of almost floor to ceiling windows and, in that instant, stress falls away and you leave behind work-world and enter vacation-world. Breathe in, then let it out.The house is thoughtfully laid out and well appointed. Upstairs, more big windows and skylights offer views of the lawn and lake, provide ample light, and guarantee that the space never feels closed in or crowded. (Note: Anyone desiring to linger in bed in may want to bring along a sleep mask.) While the house is comfy, the main attraction is, of course, that beautiful body of water and the views from this point of land are expansive. We enjoyed the scene while dining on the large deck. The terraced lawn affords ample recreation space (croquet anyone?), the dock being the prime spot for taking in the sunrise and sunset. Lake Champlain never disappoints.

A fun getaway!

With two families of four looking to get back to Vermont for a summer getaway, this was perfect! Right on the water and with plenty of space, we were happy to have a peaceful retreat. Close enough that we could even take a trip into Burlington. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets from back deck/yard. Peaceful private location. We had fun exploring the beautiful surrounding areas, as well as the local winery and brewery. Farm stands and bakery stands nearby. Autumn is a great and responsive host.

A lovely getaway

This is our second year staying at this VRBO property. The owner was more than accommodating and was prompt in answering all of my questions. We stayed a week and loved every day that we were there. Our stay was aided by the fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable living and bedrooms, and it was spotlessly clean. Thanks again for allowing us to stay there.

Beautiful Place!

My family stayed at this place for a week in July. Every sunset that we saw was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed eating dinners on the deck while we watched nature’s show. My children enjoyed the paddle board, kayak, canoe, and hammock, and there was plenty to do inside on the rainy days. Autumn was very easy to communicate with, and our stay was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spring break

Perfect house for family of 8, spacious and great place to hang out. Explored the area Goodsell Ridge, Alburgh, Montreal, South Hero- it was all beautiful. Stopped at the little store on the island and the brewery, Kraemer & Kin. Had mounds of snow and then clear skies for the eclipse! It is a great house for a relaxing get away.

I checked in with my plow person–who is great and generally communicates well–and it sounds as thought he was held up with several urgent situations due to the snowstorm. Quiet, Spacious, Well-Appointed

Three of us older adults stayed a week in this beautiful home on the shore of Lake Champlain. Everything we needed was there. The home is very private with no visible neighbors, but it had easy access to stores, gas stations, and major roads to our outdoor adventures. The island itself had some interesting features well worth visiting. Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. We heartily recommend it for anyone looking for a great base camp in the northern Lake Champlain area.

Beautiful, secluded property

The house has a great layout with a large, open living/dining space. The younger kids enjoyed having a large room with 3 single beds and a TV. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to cook meals. Each day, we would drive about 25 minutes to interesting spots in the area. Try Seb’s in South Hero, Au Sable Chase in NY and Montréal.

Fantastic memories

We truly had one of the best vacations! The open area made it very easy for all of us to be together with plenty of room to spread out. The sunsets and sunrise views from the dock were spectacular. Kitchen was very well supplied with plenty of dishes, silverware and pots/pans. I would highly suggest going 1/4 mile down the road to the local smoked meat store and grab yourself some brisket too! Thanks Autumn!

Awesome stay by the Lake Champlain !

We had a very delightful stay in the Lake House ! Very peaceful, great location, splendid landscape. The Lake House is very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our diners on the large deck overlooking the lake and the beautiful sunsets. Autumn, the owner, was very helpful and communicative to set us up at the house. We didn't have the pleasure to meet Autumn but hopefully will have the opportunity upon our next visit. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended ! Can't wait to go back.

Great location and beautiful sunrise and sunsets

The property worked well. It would be good for the beds to get updated. One twin bed is broken quite badly. The rest of the furniture all worked out fine. Overall we had a great stay and are very appreciative of the Autumn for letting us stay.

Cozy winter getaway

Johnny’s Dream was the perfect property for our family, including our furry family member, to celebrate the holiday. The views of sunrise from the master bedroom were magnificent! The house was super clean, spacious and very comfortable. My husband and I love to cook, and we prepared all of our meals at the house so the kitchen was more than adequate fir our needs. Autumn was very nice, responsive and easy to communicate with. We had to cancel and rebook our trip, and she was quite accommodating. We look forward to a return trip on the summer or fall to enjoy the lake during a different season!
