It was amazing had a wonderful time very peaceful. Easy to find. Owner called makeing sure we found it and was very nice. Will definitely book this place again when we are in the area. Hands down 10 out of 10. Felt like home away from home. Just will say its for one or two people just like it shows it is.

We had an amazing stay! It was the perfect escape from the noise, lights, and constant activity of New Orleans. For the first time in a long while, we fell asleep without hearing police sirens, traffic, or someone revving an engine at 2 a.m.The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. We brought our telescopes and spent the evenings stargazing under some of the darkest skies we've seen in years. Instead of city lights, we got stars. Instead of sirens, we got crickets!!!If you're looking to unplug, relax, and remember what silence sounds like, this is the place. We'd absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I booked Chateau de Campo for two nights for the Perseid meteor shower. The location offered a nice wide open view and dark skies, and it was perfect for what we intended to do. We booked two nights just in case clouds messed up the peak night, we could stay the extra day and at least see something. Well, we ended up getting a perfect first night for the peak of the meteor shower. I saw 78 meteors total. So, we use the second day to kind of catch up on some sleep that we needed and go into town. This was the cutest little cabin ever. Everything was set up perfectly to accommodate us. The bed was comfortable, we had a nice full-size bathroom, a washer and dryer and a little kitchen set up too. The other perk is it’s only about a nine minute drive into town. There are so many cute and good restaurants to eat at. We tried Bessies’s Sweet Retreat, Red Brick Café, and Swamp Monster. If you don’t feel like eating out, there is a little cooktop and a microwave that you can cook with, and a propane grill on the back porch.This was a great place to unwind and relax. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and plan on returning again.

This property was perfect. My family was camping nearby and this grandma's camping days are over. So, I really thought I would miss the trip. But then I looked on VRBO and found this perfect little place to stay. The owners had everything set up perfectly and as a single woman traveling alone I felt super secure, the cabin was super clean, stocked with everything I needed. And I was able to come and go as I needed to. Thank you so much to my hosts! My stay was perfect.

Wonderful cabin on a farm!!

Such an amazing and adorable setup!! So quaint and cuddly. Quiet and remote, but only 9 minutes to town! We cooked on the backstone and walked around the field at night! It was so worth it!!

Solitude

The tiny home was as described, clean and with a small collection of cook ware. If it’s your desire to be by yourself this is the place as it is located in the edge of a hay field which gives a great view of the sky. The home was easy to find but may have to call because it has no house number.
