Perfect for quiet family beach vacation

The house is beautiful and located only one block from the beach. It was clean and modern. Its fully equipped with everything needed Scott was highly responsive and made the booking process and our stay go smoothly. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the house again. We were looking for a quiet location for young kids and I would recommend the house to any family looking for a quiet beach vacation .

We are a family of four with two little girls. We live full time in NYC but spend as many days and weekends as we can in Amagansett. Our home is truly geared for families & time together which we greatly prioritize as we think about our guests.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love the quiet tranquility of the dunes. Living in NYC, the Amagansett Dunes is our escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s friendly, “neighborhoody” & safe to the point we let our girls ride their bicycles around by themselves. There are no street lights which minimize light pollution and on clear nights remind you of the beauty of the stars above. It’s quiet and the most noise you will hear will be the crashing of the waves and the sounds of nature from the frogs and crickets. The Dunes are incredibly outdoorsy and we do our best to spend as little time as possible indoors as possible. We are always out and about at the beach, on our bikes, throwing or kicking a ball, playing on the swing or just generally relaxing. It’s an incredible recharge and change of pace for us versus our life in the City.

What makes this property unique

The house is full of huge windows facing directions that allow for amazing light. We also have doors and windows that allow for incredible cross breeze when all open. We also have a true Chef’s Kitchen which is really a pleasure to cook and entertain in. The house is really set up to be relaxing along with ability to casually host guests for a dinner party or glass of wine.
