Historic home Nestled on a quiet street in downdown Great Barrington, just steps from the River Walk path, this enchanting apartment features 2 bright and airy queen bedrooms, perfect for a small group of guests.

This is a Duplex house - you will have one entire side which has a queen bedroom on the first floor and a Queen bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor have a handrail but they are steep. The apartment features amenities like Roku TV, WiFi, Back Yard Gas Grill, washer/dryer in Basement, fully equipped eat-in kitchen.

The apartment has beautiful artwork throughout and nice touches like plants and locally made pottery. The newly renovated bathroom offers modern glass door, step-in shower.

The font enclosed porch is perfect for storing ski or outdoor gear

Your stay will be comfortable and convenient as you can easily walk to the downtown cafes, food coop, great restaurants and the theater. We are a 10 minute drive to Butternut ski areas and close to hiking trails and performing arts center - Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow.

This property was a perfect location! We went to Tanglwood on Friday which was only about a 20 minute drive. We woke up Saturday and walked to get coffee and stumbled upon the most amazing farmers market!! Saturday night we walked to dinner and looked into cute little shops along the way!

I rate this Great Barrington apartment a very solid 4, especially considering the low nightly rate. The location is 5 stars. It is reasonably clean and reasonably comfortable. Could it be improved? Yes, but then the rate would go up and it is really fine how it is. Enjoy the short walk to downtown and the fun artwork. It is nicer than it looks in the photos. I would definitely stay here again. If forced to reveal my complaints I'd tell you the mattress is a bit soft, it is a little shabby, I was terrified I'd miss the step up into the bathroom at night, no tissues provided, I kept thinking I would break the glass storm door because it sticks. Basically nothing to complain about and the location is perfect.

Guests didn’t follow any closing instructions. Left eaten food and drinks on counter. Heat was left on high and all upstairs window wide open In the winter when temps were close to zero.

Very nice and clean house with all amenities. Main Street is just around the corner, with all the shops and restaurants a 5-minute walk. Ski Butternut is a 7-minute drive. The host responds very quickly to all questions. I highly recommend stay at this house.

Comfortable and close to downtown

This property offers comfort and convenience. We loved that it was walking distance to downtown and many restaurants & coffee shops. The bed was comfortable. Apartment is just as pictured, maybe even better! Would definitely stay again..

Great location! Walking distance to downtown attractions and the river walk. Nice sunny apartment with eclectic personally. Modern furnishings in an older building but it works! We had a great time exploring Great Barrington. Host answered questions quickly. We hope to go back this summer when things are a bit warmer! Just what we needed!

Great place in a great town

Our family had fun staying here. The place had everything we needed and had great art throughout as well. Very short safe walk to Main Street Great Barrington where there are many great stores and restaurants. Less than 10 minutes to Ski Butternut.
