Located in highly sought-after Falmouth Foreside just outside of Portland (15min), this bright and airy 2800 sq ft contemporary and charming home meets your every need. With a stunning fenced backyard-haven featuring numerous flower gardens and mature trees, you can choose shade or sun. Enjoy two back decks for dining, and a private princess balcony off the upstairs master suite for a relaxing morning coffee on the full-size outdoor sofa. Spend evenings in quiet conversation beside the warm light of the handcrafted stone firepit.

Completely remodeled main floor with modern kitchen designed by Eyder Kitchens in Portland. Boasting professional grade Thermador and Sub Zero appliances and beautiful walk in pantry with hot/cold on-demand sink at coffee station, the kitchen is at the heart of the welcoming home, and is a chef's dream. The entire space is full of light, well-appointed with quality furnishings. Combined with the kitchen, the remodeled open-concept living room and main floor also has a powder room and a gorgeous study for work-from-home office meetings.

The well-lit basement is a cozy space for watching a movie in an evening and has a walkout door to the patio in backyard.

The garage is primarily used for a CrossFit-style home gym space, complete with special flooring, squat rack, bumper plates, free weights, kettle bells, box jump, bands, rollers, ab mat, and bench. Login to your own Peloton account to use the cycling option (several pairs of shoes provided). Maintain your fitness regime while on vacation! The area is popular for running and walking enthusiasts, and the street has access to Falmouth Land Trust’s Trail system.

Enjoy the beach rights to the street’s semi-private beach (10min walk) or walk a bit further to the public beach at Town Landing, after grabbing a lunch sandwich at the local, Town Landing Market. A small public playground for little ones is just opposite the market.

The home is just 15 min in either direction from Portland downtown, or from Freeport Village outlet shopping. Plenty of local dining/eating establishments. Easy access to both 295 and I-95. Close to many large public beaches, a waterpark for the kids in Saco, and the stunning Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay is a worthwhile 45 min drive.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful. It's well equipped with everything, and nicely decorated, making it very welcoming and comfortable. The yard is lovely. Really enjoyed using the fire pit. It was perfect for our family get away. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home in Falmouth!

Pristine condition, spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. In addition to the 3 BRs it has a lovely study and nicely furnished lower level that we used for remote work. The home gym is also a great bonus. Beautiful outdoor space for entertaining with gorgeous plantings and comfortable outdoor seating. Awesome Vacation

This was the perfect house for me and my family there were 4 adults and 2 children ages 2 & 5. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to a neighborhood beach as well as the Town Landing Market. It was 15 minutes to Portland so it was very convenient to drive into Portland and enjoy the activities and excursions. I definitely would recommend this house for your next vacation

Great family-friendly home

Matt & Monique were friendly, gracious hosts! This house is ideal for those traveling with kids as there are step stools, plastic plates, etc. that make life easier. Loved the outdoor area with a fenced in backyard. The house was clean and had all the amenities and comforts of home. We enjoyed the location and it was a friendly neighborhood with other young families taking walks and waving hello. We’ll be returning for sure!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this terrific Maine home near Portland. The house was very well furnished and well organized. The two large bedrooms were terrific, with a very large en suite master bathroom with two separate lavatories and a great shower/tub. The master bedroom was connected with an open porch, perfect for morning coffee, reading, etc. The second bedroom had a (also large) bathroom across the hall. There was a third bedroom, suitable for young children, that we did not use. Downstairs there was a large open kitchen, dining room, and big living room, with all necessary furnishings. There was also a quiet study, a bathroom, and a mud room. The house was well located; about 25 minutes from the Portland airport and 15-20 minutes from downtown Portland. The house also had a lovely back porch on the first floor, excellent for dining, as well as a grill and a separate patio/fire pit area. Matt and Monique were ideal hosts, accommodating our latish arrival time, explaining how the house worked, orienting us to the neighborhood, and giving us advice about nearby places to visit. We did not swim at the nearby beach because it was low tide but we found a good state beach about a half hour away.

A perfect sanctuary

Our family had a wonderful experience at this property. Pictures don't do justice to how nice the house is. The fully loaded kitchen had everything we could need. The beds were comfortable, the setting was quiet. Our dog made himself at home in the fantastic yard and we all loved our morning walks to the water's edge. Plenty of friendly dogs and neighbors greeted us along the way. And finally, the location was perfect. Close to Portland, beaches, and shopping but far enough from the hubbub of the real world to truly relax.

This house ticked all of the boxes for us! The house was spotless on our arrival. We loved the location - less than 15 minutes to Portland or Freeport. It was in a beautiful neighborhood. Great place for families

This was our second year staying here. The house is beautiful and welcoming, with everything our family needed to make ourselves comfortable. With little kids, we especially appreciated the plastic dishes and step stools :) The backyard is filled with flowers and cozy places to hang out, and the neighborhood is a great location filled with friendly neighbors. Falmouth House Feedback

The house was perfect for a one week stay with our family of five (including three College age children). Plenty of room for all. The backyard is gorgeous, a great place to hangout. Beautiful home in the Foreside

Everything about staying here was convenient and stress-free. The location was perfect; our kids loved walking down to the ocean, and it was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. What a great house! It had plenty of space for our family of 6, very clean, and was located close to everything in Portland. Our kids had the best stay in the bunks and our pups enjoyed the backyard! The home was perfect.

We love our Falmouth Foreside home! We love our neighborhood with close walking, running and cycling trails, beach access for our dog, and an easy stroll to the Town Landing Market, as well as super easy access to all the best of the Greater Portland area. Because of our jobs, we vacate our home each summer, and exchange it for lakeside living in southwestern Maine.
We hope you love it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

This family home is a spacious open-concept living space, with lots of windows - very bright and happy! The kitchen is dreamy! It has two back decks, and stone patio for relaxing, dining, and entertaining. The beautiful backyard is fenced and has a gorgeous stone fire-pit, shaded by trees. The dead end street is peaceful and quiet. Very safe for kids and walking/running-friendly.

What makes this property unique

Comes with beach access and a walking trail; local market for delicious breakfast sandwiches, lunch, etc., and playground for small children. Foreside Falmouth is a very active community with lots of runners and walkers! The home is very near route one, and just 10-15 min drive to downtown Old Port Portland, and 15 min to quaint Freeport, home of the LLBean flagship store and tons of outlets. We are also very near the Maine Audubon.
