Welcome to Bear Creek Lodge!

Bear Creek Lodge is located in this wonderful community of 29 luxurious cedar log cabins. Nestled in the woods surrounding no-wake Goshorn Lake. The “up north” feeling cottages are only two minutes from downtown Saugatuck. A crafted floor plan that features three bedrooms (including a fabulous master suite), two full baths, an all wood interior, a great room with a towering stone fireplace, a cozy loft that acts as a sitting room and TV area, an open kitchen and a dining area with a view. Huge screened-in porch in back to soak in warm summer nights. Lots of outdoor and indoor things to do!

THE LOCATION
King Fisher Cove is a short five minute drive to downtown Saugatuck, ten minutes to Oval Beach, and a fifteen minute to Holland. Dune ride are just down the road (2 minutes)

Bear Creek Lodge is a stand alone cabin in the King Fisher Cove association. If you are a larger group looking for a few homes in the same complex, look no further! We manage 4 other cabins in this complex, Gecko Get Away, Our Get Aweigh, The Great Escape, and Big Bear Cabin. The five cabins are intended to be rented separately, with separate entrances and private areas, but could easily be rented together for multiple families or couples to enjoy.

Great girls trip

Cabin was clean,.plenty of space for 4 people and loved the coziness of the property. Also.had great use of the firepit. Overall a very nice stay.

Near busy road

Overall, we enjoyed the cabin. However, the pictures lead you to believe it is secluded and has a dock to the lake. The lake wasn’t far, about a 5 minute walk but definitely not at this cabin. Also, the house backs up to the Blue Star highway, and although when asked, I was told it was not close, but heavily wooded and noise was not an issue. That was inaccurate -car noise was loud around the fire pit and noticeable inside as well. Kitchen had bare minimum supplies/cooking equipment and gas grill made a hissing sound, so could not use it. Activities in surrounding area is best during summer as the week we went mid-October most business was weekends only.

Beautiful Property

We throughly enjoyed our stay and intend on coming back. Everything was clean and beautiful as expected. The only things we want to note that wasn’t disclosed up front on this listing was the 2 car at the property rule, nor was the rental agreement I had to sign after I had booked through here. I choose to do my rentals through a reputable site like Vrbo for a reason, while I understand why rental agreements are set it felt shady that it wasn’t disclosed up front. It was also noted that the grill should be cleaned if being used, but there wasn’t anything at the property to clean it with. Had to get creative, but if you’re going to set that expectation there should have been at least a grill brush to carry that out.

Nice place!

Very close to Dunes state park and dune rides. Easy drive to both Holland and downtown Saugatuck. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Comfy and a great spot to relax!
