GREAT Lake house for families w/ kids

This space was an absolute gem of a find on Lake Oconee. We were hesitant at first with the listing since it had only 3 bedrooms for our two-family gathering with kids, but this place was more than spacious! We all fit comfortably and there was even a living space we hardly used! And the indoor pool was great for our kids! The owners were great to respond to our questions. Check in was easy. And check out was even easier with simple instructions. We truly LOVED this place and truly plan on returning!

Holiday

We surprised four of our youngest kids with this trip in a letter on Christmas day. They were so excited to have a few days away during break. They loves all the space to spread out...the pool, the pool table, and the sauna were such a blast. We even got to watch some adult tv on the sunroom tv because they stayed busy having fun together. I love this house.Thanks so much for everything

Thanksgiving Getaway

Lovely vacation home. Master bedroom with king size bed was wonderful. Every room was immaculate. However, pool room door needs to be replaced (stuck). Pool nowhere near the size as pictured; one set of blinds in sunroom was damaged; ant spray was on the floor of one bathroom upon arrival and ice maker on fridge was broken.

Family Getaway

Wonderful weekend away. This property has something for everyone. We put our boat in at the marina directly across from us. The kids enjoyed the weekend of fishing, swimming, playing ping pong and using the sauna and hot tub. Plenty of room and veryone had a place to be.

Fall Break 2024

We stayed for several days over Fall Break. Perfect home for a family with an indoor pool and game room. We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen is in need of new pots and pans and silverware. We also pulled out several dirty dishes and pans from cupboards. The garbage didn’t get picked up from the last guest so it was over flowing by the time we added ours. We also saw several bugs in the home. And as far as location, what’s not pictured is to the right of the property on the lake is a warehouse type building and a road so the view ain’t great in that direction and it doesn’t feel as secluded as the pictures suggest, but the location was actually perfect for us. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. And overall, it’s a great property.

Great family get away!

Fishing was great. Private pool was awesome. Highlight for the females were the sauna, we created our on spa day. The host was available and responsive to any bumps we experienced. We're already talking about returning for the holidays.

Peaceful getaway

The lakehouse is great for a quiet getaway not too far from the city. Really comfortable beds and enough room to stretch out give your family some space.

Great Quick Getaway

Booked this last minute and had a small emergency that required us to cut our stay short by one day. Everyone was so accommodating and kind with regards to our situation. House was wonderful and just what we needed for a quick getaway with our two teenage daughters.

Pleasant and Peaceful Stay

Due to last minute cancellation of a rental in Florida for the weekend of my son's death anniversary, I went in search of a peaceful location to spend the weekend. Thankfully this property was available. Booking was fast and painless. Check-in was easy. The house was spacious and the indoor pool was a hit with my other children. The backporch swing overlooking Lake Oconee was good for the days when I just needed quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was adjustable. That was a nice surprise as well. My favorite room out of all of it though was the sunroom with all the windows. Thanks for the opportunity to share your home!

Had a great 4 days

We were surprised by how large the house was, and enjoyed it very much. It was just the right fit for our family. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and the lake. We rented a pontoon and toured the lake and even took a plunge off the jumping rock into the really nice lake waters. We want to come back for sure!

Lovely Home with Caveats

Overall we enjoyed our time at Lake Oconee, it’s unfortunate that a number of basic items were broken (Dishwasher, Ice Maker.)

Great vacation

This is our second time in this rental. We love it. We had an issue with the dishwasher and we had to wash dishes by hand and the living room’s air conditioner wasn’t working properly though we are looking forward to come back for the third time. Thanks!

Relaxing time at the lake

Quiet Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great experience, but the AC in Master BR was not working properly and would hover at 80 until well into the night. The management company was aware of it and trying to get it fixed as it was a separate unit and rest of the home was cool. Clean and spacious. That was our only issue and property managers on top of things and very communicative even on a holiday weekend.

A wonderful time at the lake

We had a great time in this beautiful home. The location was close to everything. The kids had a blast in the pool and the hot tub as well as the lake. It was just what we needed for a great vacation!

Excellent Lake House Experience

This was a great house to stay in for a few days to play on the lake. The house was true to the pictures. It's a little dated when you first enter the great room, but it's the room we spent the least amount of time in. Traveling with teenagers, they immediately gravitated to the pool. I would suggest paying the extra to get it heated because even in the heat of the summer, the water was very cool. Swimmable, but not super comfortable temperature. The pool was a great addition, and we loved the hot tub (but could not figure out how to make it hotter) and the sauna. The kitchen area was roomy and had a nice sun porch attached. We spent a lot of time here and on the very roomy deck. The pool table was a hit, and we found a great ping pong table we could also use, which was great for evening entertainment. Bedrooms were roomy and spread out, so everyone had some privacy. Great bathrooms in the house, including one off the pool so you didn't have to walk through the house. The deck was nice, and there is a great marina across the way. We rented jet skis from another place, but all very accessible to the house. A few things were off-there were a lot of people that stopped by to look at things while we were there, including the property manager. It was fine, but felt intrusive to have her and several workers come by during our time. I know they are booked through summer, but would've been nice for them to schedule when no one was staying there. The beds were comfortable and seemed new. The only down side was a deck full of goose poop that we cleaned off and a neighbor that was a little much, but otherwise it was an awesome time. The location was great, from a boat or jet ski you could be on the lake in a minute. Great deck swing and swing by the water to hang out in. The house was clean, easy to find and easy to access. Close to restaurants, well maintained and great space for the price. Would absolute recommend!

Great relaxation

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Great view. Enjoyed the pool even when it was raining outside. Loved the outside decks. Very clean and plenty of room. We will visit again.

Paradise close to home

This property was perfect for our family getaway. I loved waking up and drinking my coffee while watching the birds and the fishing boats. My grandkids didn't want to leave (they absolutely loved the indoor pool)! The stay is a little bit pricey but I definitely would stay again.
