We were traveling for vacation in Utah and stayed here. It was a very good experience and we would stay there again. It was convenient to the points of interest we wanted to visit.
The property was great. It was very convenient to our plans to go to Zion National Park. We were very comfortable in the property and my wife really liked the pillows. She said they were the most comfortable of any of the places we've ever stayed.

It would have been helpful to know that access required a full flight of outdoor steps(15). My son has some challenges and I am 78. I was doable, but I would not have chosen the location had I known the limitations in access, and sharing the yard with a lovely dog we were asked not to interact with was OK, but we felt unhappy for the dog. All of the appliances worked as expected.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear that everything in the home worked as expected during your stay.
I’m sorry to hear that the stairs were challenging for you and your son. We do our best to be transparent, and the listing notes in the “Notes” section that stairs are required to access the apartment, along with photos that show the stairway for clarity. Your comment is helpful, though, and I’ll review the listing again to ensure that this information is even easier to notice for guests who may need that detail when choosing a place.
Regarding our dog, thank you for respecting the request not to engage with her. She’s very sweet but can become a little too excited with guests, which is why we set that guideline. Please rest assured she receives plenty of love, interaction, and care from our family.
I appreciate your perspective and your thoughtful comments. Thank you again for staying with us, and I wish you all the best in your future travels.
This is a fantastic place and host. Multiple pillow choices, blankets etc. Kitchen is well stocked with essentials. Close to grocery. Eat at Rooster Run Cafe in Hurricane!
Josh's place was perfect for us--the ideal home base for exploring SW Utah's wealth of spectacular hiking trails. The apartment was spotlessly clean; very spacious; had many windows and lots of light in the walkout basement; 2 simple but nice bedrooms, each with a very comfy big bed and plenty of comforters & blankets and many choices of pillows; a really well-stocked shared bathroom (towels galore, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tissues, Q-tips, etc.) with nice hot shower/tub and good lighting; lovely and well-stocked eat-in kitchen with everything you could need for preparing your own meals; huge TV & comfy sectional for relaxing; pretty, private patio with gas grill and large table & chairs, opening to a grassy back yard with playground and sunset views. Josh and his wife could not have been more kind, attentive, helpful, and friendly. Quiet Toquerville is the perfect central location if you want to be close to Zion, St. George, Snow Canyon, and Sand Hollow (all within about a 30-minute drive) but don't want the crowds and traffic. The apartment is totally private, but it is on the lower level, so access is via outdoor stairs (nice & wide with handrail), and there's a family above, so you may hear some sounds of life; but sleeping with white noise takes care of that. We stayed there for 4 nights, and it was a joy and great value. We will definitely be back!
A great place to stay while we visited the National Parks. Everything we needed after a long days hike.Would stay here again.
