Charming and spacious, this secluded 3-bed, 3-bath home overlooks a lush lagoon. The private *heated pool, surrounded by a large deck, offers a free standing hot tub, screened porch, plenty of lounge chairs, firepit and a gas grill. The perfect space for outdoor relaxing.

Cherry-wood flooring greets you and extends to the dining room, with seating for eight. The kitchen has tile flooring, granite countertops, and a breakfast area with seating for four. Beyond the living room, you will find the king's master bedroom, and en-suite bath, with their own private access to the pool area. To the left of the entryway are two more guest rooms, one with twin beds and private baths, and the other with queen bedding and private access to the pool deck. This bedroom also has access to a full bathroom in the hallway.

What a great place to relax

This property was excellent for our part of 6. The house is spacious, beautiful with comfortable and clean furniture and surroundings. The screened in porch was great for relaxing and reading. The outdoor area was so nice and had everything we could want. We also love to stay in Shipyard Plantation. The location was nice and quiet and a short bike ride to the beach from the bike/walking paths. We would stay here again.

Great home & Location

We use VRBO for all vacations and for the most part have been very pleased. This house is at the top of our list of all rentals. The back yard is really great, and the location was only 15 minute walk to the beach.. The home was very well appointed and had everything you could need from cooking gear to towels to 4 bikes. Clean, beds were great … 5 stars

Enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head! Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Plenty of beach towels! Pool felt great! Two small recommendations (1) would be nice if the kitchen was stocked with a few basic spices (2) the laminated card need to be updated to show the walk to the beach takes 30 minutes and not 15 minutes. Overall, really enjoyed the neighborhood for walking. Thanks!

Everything was GREAT until we opened hot tub. Disgusting for sure. Sad part is we were looking forward to the hot tub bc weather was perfect for it. All else was perfect. Also had a cleaner come to clean a day before our checkout and he couldn’t speak English. A call to Vacation Company sorted it out and that’s when I mentioned dirty hot tub to which I got literally no response from rep on phone. I hung up thinking that she should have offered someone to come clean it but NOPE.

Nice but needs updating for the price

We love visiting Hilton Head every year and this was the first time staying in Shipyard. The location was convenient. The house was okay and showed its many years of being a rental. The master mattress was soft and needs to be replaced soon. My children bumped their toes on the brick edging the pool when jumping in often. The backyard is beautiful but there were lots of bugs. The beach was a short drive away! We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor lighting!

Perfect Spring Break - Amazing Outdoor Space

The pictures of the backyard don't do this property justice. The pool, gazebo and deck (with fire pit) was amazing. We ended up ordering take out and grilling for several nights because we were having such a good time outdoors we didn't even want to go out for dinner. The pool was well taken care of and the kids loved it. The gazebo is now screened in too, which kept the bugs away. The is also a very large yard for hunting lizards which our 11 year old did daily. The back grill we used and was tremendous. Many rentals cheap out here and this property did grilling right. Inside, all the rooms were immaculately cleaned and tidy. Plenty of space and perfect for a family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and was nicely stocked with dishes, etc. Beach towels, amenities were great. The property mgmt company had a welcome gift when we arrived and had nice little starter packs for dishes, etc. Beach towels were provided and plentiful. Exceeded expectations. We have stayed in the past at Sea Pines and were pleasantly surprised with how much we liked Shipyard Plantation. While not as ritzy as Sea Pines, it was quiet and provided great biking and walking opportunities. The only downside is there is only one beach access point for Shipyard. It was easy enough to drive to and/or bike though and certainly didn't take away from the experience in a major way. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Property!

We loved our stay at this house. This was the best-equipped kitchen in any place we have ever rented (we cook most meals in), and the grilling set-up had everything we needed. The very private pool and the gazebo were incredible. The whole property was well-maintained. The people who slept on the twin beds (adults) reported that the mattresses need to be replaced asap.
