Welcome to 2 Ruddy Turnstone! This four bedroom, three bathroom home is located oceanside in Sea Pines. This home is all one level and can sleep a group of up to eight guests. There are pavers off the private pool deck that lead you to the beach path - you'll have your toes in the sand in a quick five to seven minute walk.

**Additional Information**

• Distance to Beach: Five to Seven Minute Walk to Beach. Located 9th row oceanside in Sea Pines - very easy walk to the beach.

• Pool Info: The pool is approximately 39 feet by 9.5 feet (lap pool) with a depth of 3 1/2'-6'. The private lap pool can be heated seasonally between Labor Day and Memorial Day for $115/day + tax with a four consecutive day minimum. Please email or call us at least two weeks prior to your arrival if you would like to add pool heat for your stay. Pools are not heated in the summer months as they will be naturally warmer due to the warm summer temperatures.

• Parking is available for up to four cars maximum at 2 Ruddy Turnstone. Car passes are an additional $17/pass per week.

Great family beach vacation

Great trip with our baby and two sets of grandparents. House was great, nice layout and could easily do beach in the morning and come back for nap time. Great kitchen! Super cute decor was an added bonus!

Almost Perfect!

Very clean!!! Had almost everything we needed at the property and it was decorated tastefully. The layout of the house was perfect for a vacationing family. All the bedrooms were very quiet, even when others were up moving around in the kitchen/living area. It was a short walk to an uncrowded portion of the beach, and you really never need to leave Sea Pines for dining options!

Rental company was helpful and responsive when booking and with our last minute pool heat request. Carpets were freshly shampooed. Very clean with all the supplies, dishes, cookware, towels we needed. Plenty of starter amenities to last the whole week for our party of 4 (tp, trash bags, dish soap). The blender even works! This home is right on Sea Pines Rd so traffic is noticeable. Love that it is right inside the back gate mailing it easy to get in and out. 10 minute walk to beach.

House was great, but...

The house was great. The pool had major issues during our stay. Upon arrival the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. After they got it cleared up it was full of tree debris and sand. Then the pump went out. We were given a credit but the whole situation should have been handled better.

We gathered in the sunroom every morning, and shared stories areound the large table overlooking the pool. It was a short walk to the beach. Lovely breeze. We used the gift certificate to rent bikes to ride to Harbor Town. We could drive anywhere on the island in about 20 minutes. Impressed with the number of kitchen items. This is a cook's delight! Can't say enough about this great home.

This mid century modern perfectly decorated gem has 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a fully (cook & serving ware) stocked chef's kitchen ready for you to cook your freshly caught seafood, outdoor gas grill, sun porch, pool, walking path access to the beach, golf, close proximity to shopping, coffee shops, restaurants and bike path access at the end of the driveway. Lovely landscaping surrounding the home and garden in back yard complete with at least 5 different fresh herbs. Our family rented one speed beachcomber bicycles for the week and explored the island on its bountiful bike paths or on the beach at low tide. Our stay was relaxing and a true vacation in that our family was able to reconnect, catch up, complete a puzzle or 3, eat meals together, ride bicycles together and just be present. We are most grateful to Stephen and Wendell for sharing their home and hope to return again.

It was the perfect size for our small family, and we loved its proximity to the beach (easy walk via path) and the private pool, which was like an oasis. This home has a great layout with plenty of living space for everyone to spread out, which is often hard to find in smaller rental homes. Very clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. We look forward to returning next year!
