Our family had a wonderful time at the lake. Cindy's home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Willsboro is a beautiful area and we hope to return someday!
We really enjoyed our four night stay on Lake Champlain. The accommodations were comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were beautiful, and we enjoyed the fire pit lakeside. The property is convenient for exploring Lake Placid, New York and Burlington, Vermont. Finally, the property host, Cindy, is responsive and hospitable. We would recommend this property and stay here again.
This was an incredibly beautiful property. Everything was wonderful. Kitchen was immaculately stocked and prepared which was a gift to me the cook of the family. It provided my family a wonderful backdrop to share a Christmas gathering. We will definitely be looking to come back.
Attended a family wedding in Willsboro. This VRBO was conveniently located to the wedding venue. We were able to find local restaurants near by when needed.
The house is right on the water and we took advantage of the kayaks at the property for morning outings on the lake.
All the amenities were comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything available. Beds were comfortable.
Communications with the property owner were easy and she was always quick to respond via email.
We stayed here for the solar eclipse, and we could not have asked for a better property. The location on the lake is stunning, with zero traffic noise or obstructions to the view. The house had everything you could need: dishes, towels, bug spray, sunscreen, games, etc. The ground was soggy from a recent snowmelt, so be prepared for any shoes to get a little muddy. My kids really enjoyed the indoor hallway swing and splashing in the water. (It was 37° so we didn’t swim.) high
We went up with friends to visit Ausable Chasm over Memorial day weekend. All in all it was a fun trip and nice place. There were a few things that were disappointing upon arrival. Owners hadn't been there yet so the dock wasn't out, canoe hadn't been properly stored so covered in algae, no outside water to clean it not use the outside shower to rinse off, yard was overgrown, screens hadn't been put in so the house was pretty warm and AC didn't quite do the trick. Otherwise it was a nice time.
My family loved staying at this house! It was spacious, well equipped, beautifully accented with modern and antique styles!
The property was great with space to have a family football game and a campfire at night.
The bay lake view was gorgeous and so calm.
We would definitely consider going back.
The owner is right, it is a piece of paradise!
This home was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and what a beautiful part of NY! We enjoyed "Michigans with" in Plattsburgh, the ferry to Burlington, VT, and the lovely views and waterfront of the bay in Lake Champlain. Didn't see Champy though, darn ;) Thank you for letting us rent your cozy home on the bay!
Très agréable séjour , très belle vue sur le lac, environnement boisé et reposant
Maison très bien équipée avec mise à disposition de la cheminée ce qui est rare en location…
Location à conseiller !
Just the right size cabin. Beautiful backyard with gorgeous views. The dock was super nice for us because we brought two JetSki's. Although, it is for a boat-we made it work for the JetSki's. The owner provides a lot of extra stuff that many VRBO's do not that I have stayed in. Laundry det., toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, even had some coffee K cups, bandaids, etc. Very helpful because the grocery shopping is limited unless you drive to Plattsburgh. Very cute and peaceful place to stay.
The cabin was well-located for several hikes, and the full kitchen (with dishwasher!), multiple bathrooms, large living and dining rooms, and screened back porch made for a comfortable stay. The provided kayaks and water equipment were convenient outings onto the lake that was just steps from the back door. Cindy was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for groups looking for a fully-featured accommodation in the Adirondacks.
We had the best time at Cindy's lake house. The house was clean and exactly as presented in the listing. We hiked and biked all around the area and then shared a home cooked meal. The kitchen has everything we needed. Great fun was had by all. Fantastic rental.
Beautiful property and cottage with newly renovated bedrooms and added bath. The house was perfect for kids as there is a loft and plenty of toys and games to keep them occupied if it rains. The beach is sandy and the kids enjoyed themselves while mom and dad relaxed around the fire pit. The kids didn’t want to leave. Cindy is a wonderful hostess and the neighbors are friendly. The view is unbelievable! I highly recommend this place and we look forward to next season!
This cottage was fantastic! Great size, beautiful property, gorgeous views and sunsets. Paddle boards were not mentioned so that was a great surprise! The bay is wonderful and so protected. We loved every thing about the place!
Nice place on the bay as advertised. Everything you need to stay. We rented it just for a place to stay as we are building a new house on the bay so we weren't there for vacation and to enjoy the lake. It has a big yard with easy access to the lake via a set of stairs, a fire pit, and a picnic table none of which we used. The only negative we had was that there is no entertainment system so if you want music bring your own and the TV was marginal.
We spent a long winter weekend there and it was lovely. Comfortable beds, a cozy living room for playing games and reading, a kitchen with everything we needed, and a view across Willsboro Bay toward the Adirondacks. We explored the area, hiked to a viewpoint on Rattlesnake Mt. where we could see Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains in one direction and the Adirondacks in the other. And one day we drove to Lake Placit and took another lovely hike in the snow. Cindy was very accessible with information and assistance. Highly recommended!
This property provided all that we hoped. The house was very clean, spacious, and fully stocked with everything you would need for a trip away from home. The house and beach were beautiful and well maintained. Our two kids loved playing on the beach, running around the yard, playing in the loft and going out for trips on the kayaks. We were able to relax while they played nonstop. The lake is beautiful and watching the sunset by the fire is just an amazing added bonus! This house is well worth the stay. It is our first rental and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place exceeded my expectations in every way.
This is a great place to relax and connect with family. The house offered everything we needed and wanted for our 3 day stay. The view from the back yard was gorgeous, and we spent most of the day and night enjoying it. If you are looking for a clean and bright place to just kick back, this is it. Would absolutely return.
A beautiful location in a special home. The house has amazing charm, very comfortable, and has full amenities. Would definitely rent again.
The owner provided great information and was very easy to communicate with.
Cindy's place hit the mark for us in all the important areas - it was clean, fantastic lakefront spot with a large lot, lots of lawn space, great Beach area and Willsboro bay is a very unique area of Lake Champlain not to be missed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
