About this property

1930 Bungalow Near Beaches & Lake Champlain

This 1930 bungalow-style home combines original character with updated comforts, sitting directly across from Ethan Allen Park — scenic walking trails, picnic areas, and a historic stone lookout tower with panoramic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks right outside your door. North Avenue beaches are a short bike ride or drive away for swimming, paddleboarding, or an afternoon on the lake.
Spread across two levels, the home sleeps up to 8 guests across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Period details run throughout, with a gas fireplace in the living room as the natural centerpiece for evenings in. The kitchen is well equipped for full meals, and a private porch with a swing and seating for four is ideal for morning coffee or winding down at the end of the day.

Such a great place. Reminded me of my family house in Maine. Easy check in and excellent communication. The location was perfect too and we were able to get around town easily. My family would definitely stay here again! Book this house! Also they have everything stocked with very comfortable beds.

Why they chose this property

What sets this property apart is the combination of genuine history and prime location. Built in 1930, the bungalow has the kind of character — hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, a front porch with a swing — that you can't replicate in new construction. It's been updated for comfort while keeping what makes it worth staying in.
Directly across from Ethan Allen Park, you have immediate access to trails, picnic areas, and a historic lookout tower with panoramic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. North Avenue beaches are minutes away, and downtown Burlington is a short drive for dining, breweries, and entertainment.
With four bedrooms sleeping up to 8, it works equally well for a family reunion, a group of friends, or an extended stay. The private porch, generous living spaces, and fully equipped kitchen make it easy to settle in for more than just a night or two.
The three newly built cottages behind the main house are also available if your group needs additional space — together the property sleeps up to 20.

What makes this property unique

Dating back to 1930, this bungalow retains its original character — hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, and a private porch with swing and seating for four. Directly across from Ethan Allen Park, trails and green space are steps from your door. The porch is a natural spot for morning coffee or an evening wind-down after a day out.
Inside, generous living spaces across two levels make it easy for a group to spread out. North Avenue beaches, downtown Burlington, and Church Street are all within easy reach when you're ready to explore.
