Come escape to our Gearhart Retreat - one level, updated throughout, great for couples, families, friends. This comfortable beach house getaway is conveniently located two blocks from the beach trail head and nearby the center of town including a bakery, market, coffee, wine, and more. McMenamins and Gearhart Golf Links is a short distance north. Enjoy a bike ride around down, play tennis, basketball or pickleball at the courts in town. Bring your gear for fishing, clamming, or crabbing. The walks are peaceful around this delightful, sleepy town of Gearhart. It's just a short drive to explore Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, where you can enjoy a more bustling experience with many shops, activities such as arcade and bumper cars, outlet mall, breweries and other great eats, historical sites, and more

The house is nicely laid out with three bedrooms and two bathrooms as follows:
* King bed with ensuite bathroom
* Double bed
* Two twin beds
The hall bathroom provides a bathtub, while the master bathroom provides a good size, curbless shower.

The main area has a great room concept with the living room, dining area, and kitchen all in one. The living room provides a quiet area with a second television, gas fireplace, books, and view out the front of the house. The family room is spacious for all guests to be seated comfortably to enjoy a show, movie, or board games. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, drip coffee pot, toaster, microwave, waffle maker, rice cooker and NEW stainless steel appliances. There is a second refrigerator in the garage.. Please inquire about special needs for your stay.

The large, sprawling, unfenced, professionally landscaped yard is a wonderful multipurpose area. The level grassy area can be used for recreational activities. The patio provides an outdoor table and grill with adirondack chairs. The view alone is serene and enjoyable.

The house is pet friendly (with a pet fee and owner approval). We ask that pets not be left unattended unless in a crate/kennel and are not allowed on the furniture. Bring your own recreational equipment and feel free to use the garage as storage.

The house is accessed with a keyless entry. Wi-Fi is provided. Two televisions (with an Alexa fire cube and a Roku) and an Alexa speaker are available. It is all set up to stream your personal streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube TV, Hulu, etc. There is a DVD player for movies.

We are excited to share our new, modern space with you - updated throughout. The Gearhart Retreat provides a comfortable great room set up with updated decor and furnishings. The kitchen and both bathrooms are completely remodeled with new appliances, countertops, walk in shower, tile, walnut vanities. It's a chef's delight with a fully stocked kitchen. Come relax in the cozy living room with a new gas fireplace, additional TV with Roku, and a wall of books to share. The family room is spacious with a large screen television (fire cube and YouTube TV provided) and seats all comfortably. All bedrooms have new mattresses with a layout as follows:
- Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom
- Bedroom with full bed
- Bedroom with two twin beds

The large yard provides a multi purpose play area with a tasteful surrounding garden. The patio hosts a table, chairs, and a grill. The large grassy area is great for games and a play area for kids. The two car garage is useful for storing bikes and other gear. There is ample room to park three cars in the driveway.

We take great pride in our house and continue to add personal touches to make your stay more enjoyable.

Pets are considered on a case to case basis. Please let the owner know prior to booking for approval. If approved, pets may not be left unattended in the house (crate / kennels are okay). There is an additional pet fee and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up afterwards.

Maximum nightly occupancy is six guests and up to three children two and under (older children are included in max occupancy of six).

No tents allowed in back yard. All cars must be parked in driveway or garage. No events nor parties allowed. Noise must be kept to a minimum respecting neighbors. No smoking.
