The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed and there was even free breakfast food and fruit! Highly recommended.
Great value apartment located walking distance from locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, antique stores, etc. Owner goes out of her way to make the visit pleasant. Perfect for one or two people

This cozy apartment was perfect for our stay. Nicely furnished in a nice quiet neighborhood.
Though we did not get a chance to meet Karen personally, she was always accessible via text. It was so nice to have a kitchen to prepare meals before our daily adventures.Bed was very comfy too.

Comfortable with all that you need
This was a perfect spot for my needs. It is in a great location in a great town. The apartment was up to date but with a nostalgic feel. The owner, Karen, went above and beyond to have amenities available and was very friendly. I would certainly suggest this rental for one or two people.

Great owner experience and accommodations were clean and homey.
I changed planning arrangements more than twice with Karen and she was understanding and flexible. She also made accommodations for an extra person to sleep on an air mattress of hers so they would be more comfortable.
I would recommend staying in the studio to anyone, and especially commend Karen for her professional and kind interactions.

About the host
Hosted by Karen
I moved to Bartow in 1996 and fell in love with this sleepy little southern city. I work as a school teacher teaching Culinary, so this little "Treehouse" is my second job, which enables me to do some traveling myself! I enjoy meeting new and different people from around the globe and the "Treehouse" has brought fellow travelers to my door! I love to cook and if you're lucky you will catch me at home one evening and we might even share a meal!
Why they chose this property
This home was built in 1922 and I am the 3rd owner, and have the original house plans which show a large circle that says 100 year old oak. So that makes my old oak almost 200 years old now and some say its the prettiest tree in Bartow! For years I rented it out to friends or friends of friends and one of them named it the Treehouse as he said it reminded him of going up in an big old tree as a kid.
What makes this property unique
The apartment is above the detached garage so it is really very private and quiet. I have tried to provide all the comforts of home and if you have forgotten anything please just ask.The Treehouse is small but perfect for one or two. There is a private sitting area outside under a pergola and there is a natural gas grill you are welcome to use, just ask for the grilling utensils and the lighter!
