Great convenient location, easy to walk to restaurants and shops, steps from the beach. Cute quaint interior with spacious rooms, it was perfect for a couples getaway for us!

Property was older but very nice. When we arrived the smoke alarms were going off.Washing machine did not function. Front blinds were not working well. It was obvious there was not review of the property before we arrived to be assured all was in order. Would stay there again if upon arrival we felt confident that there had been a walk thru prior to our arriving. Too much ongoing daily communication while we were trying to relax. Not necessary with a proactive approach prior. Loved the location!

The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The location is great. I wish I could give it 5 stars…Unfortunately the house does NOT have AC. We were visiting during a heat wave and the temperature was 108 degrees. The house did not have good window ventilation and was unbearable. During the day we could not be in it. When I asked the property management company what to do they dismissed me and advised that the listing did not mention having AC. The woman I spoke to told me this was common in San Diego and I can’t assume there is AC if I don’t see it listed. I am from Florida. The concept of no AC is unheard of here. The management company should have also had potable AC units as a back up. The heat was dangerous.My only other issue was the washer machine that was listed was full of dirty water and did not work.Again location is unbeatable and the unit itself charming but the no AC is as a deal breaker. Maybe I would consider staying here again in the winter if I was certain the weather would be cool.

Nice cute house with wonderful view of La Jolla Cove. Family had a wonderful time and house was clean and backyard was very pretty. Very close to the beach and house came with beach toys and chairs. Owners very communative and overall good experience!

Relaxing and lovely. Perfect distance to La Jolla shores and to downtown. If it wasn't for the fact we had to go to graduation we wouldn't have even touched the car!!

We have stayed in LaJolla Shores annually for many years. This rental is clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the coast. It's an easy walk to both the Village and the Shores. Ideal location.

Beautiful House & Location

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and was well stocked. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and plates, cups etc. All of the kitchen items were in almost new condition which was very nice. The bedrooms had plenty of pillows and blankets. The location was fantastic and we walked almost everywhere! I would absolutely stay here again!

Mid-century charmer

This house is even better than advertised. Incredibly original and meticulously maintained. It’s a moderately challenging walk to the city center, but our four year-old did it so… and then it’s a five minute walk down to the beach the other direction. Partial views of the ocean from the front deck. House is well stocked with everything you need. Super clean property.. one of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at,
