Just minutes from the natural beauty of Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, this charming cabin offers the perfect escape into nature while providing the comforts of home. This quaint cabin features one bedroom and one full bath, making it ideal for an intimate and peaceful stay. The surrounding natural beauty invites you to explore and reconnect with nature. Located near Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, you'll have easy access to scenic hiking trails and breathtaking waterfalls. Whether you're into fishing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors, you'll find plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

THIS HOME: This home is not pet-friendly (undisclosed pet fee will be charged at 3x advertised pet fee). Max. parking spaces: 2

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

A cozy swallow falls cabin

A wonderful, cozy cabin. The ability to just walk up the road to swallow falls for a hike was so nice. A very peaceful and relaxing place to get away for a long weekend.

Perfect relaxing getaway

The cabin was clean, well-kept and stocked with linens and kitchen items. There was also a nice grill to use outside. We loved sitting out by the firepit and listening to the Youghiogheny river through the trees. Everything was very comfortable and peaceful - thank you!

Great place to escape a pandemic

Very clean, quiet and cozy cabin perfect for a midweek getaway. Well appointed kitchen, A/C, shower and comfy bed, along with a nice porch made for a perfect stay. Convenient to hike and bike trails. Easy walk to the river. Print the address and access code before you arrive as cell service (Verizon) can be slow/limited.

great getaway with this extra clean cabin. the owner and housekeeper were the best. the only thing was that there is absoulutley no service for tmobile, verizon and at&t, you have to go into town to get service.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Had some issues with the TV but not that important. Also, if you have back issues, the bed is very soft. Most importantly, it was clean and the process of checking in and out was super easy.

a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and neat. There are plenty of kitchen supplies that we could eat in or grill out everyday. Also, plenty of linens. They provide direct TV, no internet, but no problem. Our Verizon worked well. Its wasn't that necessary. A beautiful, quiet place to enjoy nature with fly fishing nearby. Thank you owners!!

We had good time

I loved the cabin, it was a great time with my family for thanksgiving. The cabin is right next to some beautiful waterfalls and state parks, and ten minutes away from the nearest town. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy, but very small. The data on our phones worked, but there is no Wi-Fi so the TV didn’t work. Cabin comes with all the utensils needed in the kitchen, and towels/toilet paper etc.. one thing is that we heard constant scratching on the roof, we think it might be an animal that got stuck there. Oven didn’t work for us either, we just cooked everything on the grill outside. The cabin is next to the street, some may not like it but we enjoyed it. Beautiful stay, very safe next to the neighbours, surrounded by beautiful hemlock trees, 10/10 would come again.

Nice Christmas break getaway

The cabin was great! We were able to walk to the Swallow Falls park and it was just a short drive to the lake as well.

Nice location but too many things not working

Oven did not work, kitchen sink leaks into a bucket that has to be emptied, water was cloudy so we didn’t drink it. Could not get the cable to work.
