Downtown Gaylord is just 6 minutes away for local shops, breweries, and restaurants. I-75 makes it easy to explore: Traverse City is 90 minutes west, Petoskey 60 minutes north, Mackinaw City 90 minutes northeast.

Beautiful and clean Cabin within a block of the snowmobile trails that worked perfectly for our snowmobile group. The cabin looks just like new and was very comfortable.

Wow! Our host was so communicative and helpful. When the cleaning crew noticed that the refridgerator wasn't working correctly, we were immediately notified that they were working on the problem. We arrived to find a fridge that we could use until the other was fixed. Fabulous. The overall house was well equipped and perfect for what we needed. A great place to hang out and so close to the snowmobile trail. Highly recommend!

Gaylord Fall Getaway

Sierra & Brendan’s home is amazing! Short walk to the lake. The home is extremely clean and furniture very comfortable. The beds have a heating feature which is a nice touch, there is also space heaters is each room (this helps since there is no vents in bedrooms). I would definitely would stay here again if traveling to this area.

Don't hesitate to book this wonderful place

This home is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need and more. The picturezare very accurate. It is even more beautiful and comfortable. It was cold but the lake is right down the street viewable from the front yard.. the host is a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back. There is plenty of room. The family came for Thaksgiving dinner. It was perfect stay.

Why they chose this property

This house is nestled near Otsego Lake, the largest lake in the Gaylord area, spanning about 5 miles. With its sandy bottom and shallow waters, this all-sports lake is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, and more. In the winter, it's conveniently close to snowmobile trails and ski resorts. The locals are welcoming, and my family and friends have cabins nearby too!

What makes this property unique

My dad and I built this cabin from the ground up over the course of two years. We've poured countless hours, sweat, and heart into making this house a reality.
