This charming lake cabin, complete with a cozy summer bunkhouse, offers the perfect escape to the natural beauty and recreational opportunities
that northern Minnesota has to offer in all of Minnesota’s seasons!
Nestled on the private Little Pequaywan Lake, this property offers a fully recreational lake, perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, ice fishing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and just relaxing.
The main cabin features a spacious open floor plan on the main level, where the kitchen and dining area overlook the water. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and all the essential cooking utensils you need ensuring you have
everything to prepare meals during your stay. The adjacent dining area is perfect to enjoy the panoramic lake views while cooking and dining.

primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The primary suite offers a queen-size bed, a private balcony with chairs, and plenty of storage space.
The separate bunkhouse is a fantastic summer bonus, perfect for accommodating larger families or offering a bit of privacy for additional guests. The bunkhouse includes a bunkbed room space with 4 -full size beds, a living room with a couch, a kitchenette dining space, and a 3/4 bath with a walk-in shower. The bunkhouse is heated with electric heat, making it cozy and comfortable on chilly summer nights. It is NOT available in the winter months.
Step outside onto the main cabin’s deck and take in the beautiful sunsets over the lake—a daily highlight of your stay.
The property includes a dock, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle-boards, a Lilly pad for the lake, and (at additional cost) a 22 ft Crest Liner (cruiser) pontoon, all ready for you to start your lake adventures.
Whether you’re gliding across the water on a kayak, fishing from the dock, snowmobiling from the cabin, snowshoeing from shore, sipping coffee on the dock and listening to the loons, or simply relaxing on the pontoon, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy the lake.
We offer a pontoon rental for $150 per full day. The pontoon is well-maintained and perfect for leisurely cruises around the lake, fishing, or simply relaxing on the water. The pontoon is stored next to the dock for the summer so there is no need to pull it on and off the lake. It is already there for you to enjoy! About the host
Hosted by Chad Vetter
Welcome to our home away from home and our little slice of NorthShore heaven. We wanted to introduce ourselves to all our potential guests. We are two families that simply fell in love with this lake shore home. The sunsets alone will keep you coming back. Chad and I (Kathi) have 8 kids between the two of us and have a crazy blended life, as you can possibly imagine! Chad is a private investigator and I am a local real estate agent. Our favorite thing about the cabin when we first found it was the incredible view. Rob and Jenny are our close friends and our partners in this cabin adventure. They too are busy parents with 4 kids. Rob is in sales for the food industry and Jenny is a middle school art teacher! They fell in love with the Lake on our first boat ride…Our kids range in ages from 26 down to 13. The kids love fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and hiking through the countless trails. The NorthShore offers so many possibilities for adventures and experiences for your next vacation or weekend away that it will keep you coming back time and time again. We know, because it happened to us. Please come on in and find out for yourself. Be our guest and leave part of our family.
Why they chose this property
We love the location of our cabin. The lake it sits on is phenomenal for fishing and boating. The endless trails around us set you up for every adventure you could imagine in every season of the year and that just can't be beat! The North Shore is just so friendly and inviting no matter where you go so it isn't just our Lake, it is the entire community that brings you back.
What makes this property unique
We like to think our views are heaven. This is no secret. But honestly, we are perfectly placed for winter being so close to the snowmobile trail head. Hundreds of miles of trail fun. The summer is the same, between biking, hiking, and 4-wheeler the actual adventure is only limited by your imagination.
