Loved this home! Private and had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. My daughter especially loved the pool! Couldn’t ask for a better vacation home. Beach was also nice and peaceful. Really enjoyed hunting seashells! The hosts were very hospitable and quick to respond with any questions.

Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider returning. The home was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything you could need for cooking, which made preparing meals easy. One reason we chose this property was because the listing photos showed a fish cleaning table. Unfortunately, the table is no longer there, which was disappointing since we had planned on using it during our stay. The listing also states there are "no hidden fees." However, there is a 200 pool fee that is included with the cleaning charges. It would be helpful if this was disclosed more clearly upfront so guests know exactly what to expect when booking.Overall, we were very happy with our stay and appreciated the home and its amenities.

We strive to provide a pristine and stocked home to attempt to meet all of the needs of our guests. All fees as listed and never hidden and acknowledged per your March 3 inquiry. Hurricane Milton removed the entire dock and fish cleaning station. We’re still catching up! Thanks for pointing it out; it’s on order. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

Island Escape

Palm Island is our favorite local retreat. This home lived up to the Old Florida vibe that we love! We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, enjoying dinner on the screened lanai and exploring the island by golf cart. We would love to stay at this home again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this VRBO rental and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The bathrooms were also immaculate and thoughtfully supplied with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. One of our absolute favorite features was the screened-in porch—we loved enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner out there every single day. The pool was warm, sparkling clean, and had plenty of shade, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also really appreciated the extra amenities, including two bikes and kayaks. It was so fun and convenient to bike to the beach, which was only about five minutes away!If you plan to bring beach chairs or umbrellas, we highly recommend renting a golf cart to make trips to the beach even easier. The owners were fantastic—very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. :)Overall, we had an amazing time and made so many great memories. We can’t wait to come back again one day!

Perfect size for us and 2 teens. Having a private pool and a dock to sit on to read and watch the dolpin swim by was great. We rented a golf cart for the week to make the beach easy and sunsets were amazing. Communication with Pete and Jan was so easy and they were very quick to respond. No issues and hope to come back

Wow! This house and property were absolutely amazing! From the beautiful pool and incredible views from the boat dock to all of the thoughtful amenities, everything was perfect. The hosts truly thought of everything—bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, a grill, a fire pit, and so much more.My favorite part was the huge screened-in porch that wraps around most of the house. Drinking my morning coffee out there with my pups while enjoying the peaceful views made every morning so special. The house was spotless, fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The leather couch was also perfect for relaxing and spending time with family after a day at the beach. The hosts were extremely accommodating, responsive, and made our stay so easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this adorable home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed a three-day stay at Our Happy Place. It was a very positive experience! The house was immaculate and very well-equipped, both kitchen and outdoor toys. Beds super comfy. Great living room layout with nice couch and tv and wonderful screen porch. Pool was clean and shady, the perfect temp and so relaxing! We loved lazing the afternoons away in it. We had a lot of fun exploring the island in the golf cart. Had a good dinner at Rum Bay one night. Hosts Jan and Pete welcomed us and our dog, Cookie, with open arms and kisses from their dog, Tucker! The fenced in yard was so nice for the pups. Our only suggestion would be to edit the description “walk to pristine beach” in the house listing. It would be a long, hot walk. We were very happy we had the golf cart to get there, or we would have gone by car. Minor detail! Overall, we loved the house, the beach, the hosts, and of course, Tucker! It’s a perfect rental for people who want to enjoy nature, swim, cook out, beachcomb, paddle, etc. Highly recommend!
