Welcome to Partridge Foot Cabin!
You have found a serene retreat at Black Butte Ranch. Nestled on a peaceful half-acre lot backing to private forested greensapce, this charming cabin offers tranquility and adventure. Relax by the wood-burning fireplace or in the new private hot tub (coming October 2024). Explore 18 miles of paved trails, golf courses, and stables nearby. Perfect for all-season getaways, with access to pools, tennis, and more. Just a short drive to Bend and Hoodoo Ski Resort.
The space
Partridge Foot Cabin is your gateway to a peaceful yet adventurous stay in the heart of Black Butte Ranch. This beautifully designed cabin, featuring a subtle western theme and custom touches throughout, is set on a private half-acre lot, providing a perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. Enjoy the views of the surrounding pines through large windows that invite warm southern light.
We have a Tesla universal level 2 charger at the home which allows for both NACS (Tesla) and J1772 (all other EVs) charging right in the driveway.
A new private hot tub is available off of the back deck, adding an extra layer of relaxation to your stay. The cabin’s central location puts you within walking distance of the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, South Meadow pool, and 18 miles of paved walking and biking paths that showcase the stunning high desert landscape.
On-site, you’ll have access to a variety of amenities including swimming pools, hot tubs, a steam room, tennis courts, a spa, and more. For golf enthusiasts, two 18-hole courses, Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow are just minutes away, while equestrian lovers can enjoy guided trail rides at the Black Butte Stables.
When you’re ready to explore beyond the Ranch, the vibrant town of Bend is just a 32-mile drive away, offering excellent dining, shopping, and local breweries. In the winter, you can snowshoe or cross-country ski around the resort, or head to Hoodoo Ski Resort, only 20 miles away, for prime downhill skiing and snowboarding. Whether you prefer staying in and enjoying a cozy night by the fire or heading out for a special meal at The Lodge Restaurant, Partridge Foot Cabin offers a memorable retreat for every season.

Why they chose this property
We chose Black Butte Ranch for its perfect blend of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and peaceful retreat. Nestled in the heart of Central Oregon, this community offers something for everyone. The breathtaking scenery, with its towering pines and stunning mountain views, creates an atmosphere of tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere.
The Ranch’s amenities are second to none, making it an ideal spot for family vacations, romantic getaways, or a retreat with friends. With two championship golf courses, miles of paved biking and walking paths, swimming pools, tennis courts, and a spa, there’s always something to do right at your doorstep. The close proximity to Glaze Meadow Recreation Center and South Meadow pool was a huge draw for us, as it allows easy access to activities while still enjoying the cabin’s peaceful, private setting.
Beyond the Ranch, we love the convenience of being near the vibrant town of Bend, with its incredible restaurants, shops, and local breweries. The nearby Hoodoo Ski Resort offers fantastic winter sports opportunities, while the surrounding forests and lakes provide endless options for hiking, fishing, and exploring. Black Butte Ranch truly captures the essence of the Central Oregon lifestyle, combining outdoor adventure with the comfort of a well-appointed, relaxing home base.

What makes this property unique
Partridge Foot Cabin stands out for its rustic charm, it's truly a unique and cozy retreat. The floor plan is very functional with an open layout, one queen bedroom and full bath with laundry on the main floor, and a family room, two queen beds and full bath on the second floor. We are pleased to offer a warm cozy fireplace and private hot tub in the winter and much appreciated air conditioning in the hot summer.
