Jennifer was great to communicate with. Even offered river access for fishing near by. The only snag with this booking was the VRBO map showed it 10 miles north of the actual location.

Great place with a great yard!

Stayed for 3 days and it was perfect for my Fourth of July trip with my friends I. There was a great outdoor space and perfect seating accommodation on the inside. The only thing I would say is to make sure you bring bug spray. Other than that it was perfect!

Little Red School House

I really enjoyed my stay at the Little Red School House from 11/16/2024 to 11/23/2024. The property was very clean sitting up on a hill above the Big South Branch of the Pere Marquette River. Beautiful views from the deck and through the door wall from the dining room and living room. House comes with 2 bedrooms (the queen size beds are very comfortable). There is a bunk bed too. Full kitchen. Bath with shower was very nice. The owners responded very fast to any questions. There is a store within walking distance, they make great sandwiches (I’ve bought sandwiches from them for years. The store also has fresh baked goods on Saturday. About a mile away is a wonderful bar, good food. Baldwin is maybe 20 minutes away, Housemans is a really nice market. In town the Log Bar was remodeled within 2 years. Friendly people and good food. Ludington is about 40 minutes away, Lake Michigan and beautiful beaches. A lot of good restaurants in Ludington. Nearby, the North Country Trail meanders. Great hiking. The Pere Marquette River is a world class fly fishing River. The Little Red School House is great place to unwind and enjoy life. Thank you to the owners for sharing your place with me.
