Communication was great! Beautiful old architecture. Location, location, location is great and safe. You can walk to bars. If you have mobility issues please note that there are stairs up to the home, inside the home, and you might have to park a block or two down from the house. Beds were very comfortable with high end sheets.

Stayed 2 nights with my family. Kitchen cabinets were sticky. Upstairs bathroom was rougher than I expected.Location was great. Off street parking was fine. Back bedroom upstairs was very bright in morning . It needs a drape because of sunrise.

We stayed at this house for a girls weekend in MKE. First, there is no dishwasher in the apartment. All dishes must be handwashed. The king bedroom upstairs had a broken bed leg and the air hockey table upstairs did not work. There are no extra paper products in the apartment. No paper towels, no kleenex. If you plan to make meals in the apartment, there are minimal mixing bowls and dishes. There are 25 stairs leading into the apartment, so keep that in mind. I spilled grease on a pair of shoes during the weekend and went to wash & dry the shoes in the washer & dryer. The dryer was full of towels, washcloths, sheets, pillowcases, etc. that had to be folded before I could use the dryer.

Thank you for bringing some deficiencies to my attention. The rental is on second floor of townhouse style building and we clearly show the stairs on our listing photos. Our staff dropped the ball by not clearing out the dryer and putting out extra paper towels per our own standard practice. I wish you had sent me a message, would have taken care of it promptly. These shortcomings do not reflect our own standards and the great experiences that our other guests have. We would improve to maintain that consistency!

We acknowledge that due to stairs the rental may not be ideal for someone with mobility limitations or physical disability. The location is fantastic, so many great places for food, drinks, coffee nearby. The place was very clean and well appointed. I wish we had more a/c units as the Sept. afternoons got warm. But I'd stay there again and will recommend it to friends.

There were lots of positive reviews of this property based mostly on its location. It is a great location, close, and even walking distance, to many fun activities.But there are some real issues with the property in our view.First, it's a second floor unit with steps to the third floor. From the description, you might think the only steps to get in are the front porch steps, but there's another dozen or more steps to get to the unit itself once you get in the front door.Second, the dining room table is very small. If you're planning to enjoy any meals in it's not very accommodating. We had three in our group and it was crowded.Third, there is no place to set up a laptop to do any work or any other activity. For me, that had to be done at the dining room table and then for a short period of time because there was no place there to plug in my computer. The one "desk" was in one of the bedrooms, but there was no chair that would allow you to sit at the desk.Fourth, I asked about parking but was not told that Milwaukee requires a permit. I received a 30 dollar ticket.

The location of this VRBO was perfect for us, and it gave us the room to house members of our family in Milwaukee for a memorial service. It's located in a very walkable neighborhood, near what we needed for a several-day stay. It's a place that needs ability to climb stairs, just so you know, but that did not deter us 80 year- olds. The youngest among us (24) liked it, too.

The townhouse was the perfect fit for me and my family! We absolutely enjoyed the space and all the amenities. Tonga was a great host and was very responsive when I had any questions. I would definitely stay here again!
