A gem in north Chatham

Wonderful Chatham Hideaway

This house is truly gorgeous, renovated inside and out. The home was more than enough space for 5 adults and 1 kid. The front yard is fantastic and a great place to sit and relax. We also really enjoyed the upstairs deck! We'll definitely be back.

Exceeded Expectations!

This house exceed our expectations. It is located in a charming, upscale neighborhood and it is an easy walk to 2 small, picturesque beaches. The house has a large yard with beautiful trees. Inside, the house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The host, Mark, was very responsive. We would definitely rent this house again!

Beautiful house and great town!

Our family loved our stay at Mark's house and would highly recommend it to others! The house was clean, well-furnished, and had plenty of space for a large extended family get together. We loved the kitchen and decks, where we enjoyed many of our meals. Our kids really liked the large yard and the kids bedroom, which has a cool built-in kids bed. The back yard was perfect for picnics, games of croquet, and hanging out. All our interactions with Mark were great and very professional. He was very responsive to our questions and went far above and beyond in compensating us for a very very minor delay in getting into the house. The locations was great too. We enjoyed a number of walks through the neighborhood and strolls in nearby downtown Chatham. We didn't really spend much time at the small beaches within walking distance of the house, which didn't seem to be great for swimming. Regardless, there are many great beaches within a short drive.

Nice well equipped property.

On the plus side, the property is comfortable and well equipped. Bring sheets & pillow cases, towels, and food - everything else is there. On the minus side, the property suffers from a lot of deferred maintenance. The glass mirror in the first floor bath is about to fall out of it's frame. Doors don't close properly and drawers don't slide properly. Outside trim is broken, missing, needs power wash and paint. Windows are dirty. Shed is about to fall down. We would consider renting again, but would look at other properties first.

Lovely Cape House, Amazing Yard

This house was perfect for a family vacation. The yard was amazing with lots of animal spottings -- lots of bunnies, a fish pond, frogs, countless birds, fireflies, chipmunks, and a wild turkey! My kids were in heaven. The house was also comfortable and well-equipped. There is a nearby beach, but the road is twisty and there's no sidewalk, so it was a bit harrowing. The drivable beaches were wonderful though.

Great house close to beaches

This house was as described and on a great, quiet road close to the beaches and convenient access to town. We stayed with our two younger kids (ages 4&6) and we were close enough to to walk to the beach. They spent literally hours swinging on the tree swing in the front yard. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook meals at home. Only issue upon arrival was the trash was overflowing from the prior guests but Mark was quick to respond and trash was picked up Tuesday.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in N Chatham. The house was clean and super comfortable. A really charming refurbished and redecorated classic home with a wonderful kitchen and nice bedrooms. The kids loved climbing in the huge tree out front every day! Easy walks to some local beaches, and a really upscale neighborhood.

Fabulous Cape House

Mark’s place was perfect for our group of 7. We stayed for a week. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and a grill. Also within walking distance to a public but quiet beach so that was an added plus! Highly recommend.

Perfect house for our party.

The house has the cape cod charm with all of the modern conveniences. Great access to all that Chatham and the cape has to offer. Was able to get to several beaches easily in the morning and spend the afternoon in the yard, enjoying the cape breezes under the perfect shade tree. Because the property had everything, the owner was not needed but when I reached out he was super responsive. Can't wait to get back there.

Lovely property

The house is lovely, well equipped, ( you need to bring towels and bed linens) within walking distance of a rocky but scenic beach. You will pass by beautiful homes and vistas. Short drive to Chatham market, CVS, liquor store. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the house specifically if you have young kids but the back yard is big and if you bring your own games etc, it would work.

Lovely home & adorable town with so many beaches in close proximity!

We really enjoyed our stay in Chatham. The home is centrally located to the center of town (4 min drive) and the host was very responsive & helpful. The house is well kept and clean. We had small children and the sandy kid friendly beaches were not walking distance so that was not ideal but it was only a short drive with ample parking. We loved all the cute coffee shops.

Quiet Corner of the Cape

Great lkitchen and living room spaces for hanging out. Neighborhood is very quiet and leafy, perfect for sitting outside chatting or using the tree swing or taking a short walk. In exchange for the quiet and calm, it is about 30 minutes to Whole Foods and about 20 minutes to the Knack lobster roll haven. Great deserted beaches and hikes are available at 20-40 minute drives north.

Great monthlong stay!

My girlfriend and her two sisters and I stayed at Mark’s place for the month of June. The house is beautiful and the location is pretty perfect. Walkable to three small, quaint beaches as well as an easy drive into town, tennis, restaurants, lighthouse beach, etc. There was enough space to carve out four separate workspaces as we were all working during the day. The kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals and the new grill was fantastic! The oven and stove could be a bit finicky but would always eventually turn on. Bedrooms were nice, great master deck. Mark was a responsive, helpful host.
