Great family vacation in Greece

I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful vacation we had here with friends and family. The view from this house, the entire setting, is just gorgeous. The house is beautiful, with plenty of practical necessities. The pool, the hot tub, the deck overlooking the lake and surrounding vista - it is breathtaking. The drive is a little tricky, with a narrow raod around the lake and driveway up the hill, but once you get used to it, not a big issue. We will be back!

Stunning, beautiful, peaceful. 4 bed split level villa with bar, hot tub, 2 person hammock, pool and plenty of outdoors space for 9 of us to have our own holiday whilst enjoying time together. Local amenities and Taverna's made food decisions easy and then add in a lake that is 22-29 degrees year round which is never busy and a beautiful cove full of fish and perfect snorkelling, what more do you need! This villa is the definition of understated

- the House: even more beautiiful than the foto's and dronevideo! We were with a family of 10 persons (1-70 years) and it was without a problem. Big spaces, multiple terraces, not good but exceptionel furnished (every device is present), and good wines (f.i. Kitma red2016). Very clean. Really beautiful views. - Very well located in a stunning environnement at the interposition lake/ gulf of Korinthos. Very quiet. Good base to visit Korinthos, Nemea (nice museum, old stadium and archelogical loaction), Epidauros, Mycene ... - good contact with the owner who responded immediately. To be advised!

Great location and house

This was the perfect setting for my 60 year’s birthday celebration with children, grandchildren. The best place we’ve ever rented with a magnificent view from anywhere on the property. We also used the barbecue every day and made our own pizzas in the firewood oven. We had a few maintenance issues, which was fixed fast by the host, and didn’t have any impact on our stay.

Perfect stay at a wonderful house in a great location

We - a family of five with nearly grown up kids - stayed at the house for one week in October being very lucky that we could come despite Covid-19. And what a stay it was ! The house is perfectly located with great views in all directions (lake and sea), and the pictures describe it very well. PLENTY of space, a perfect infrastructure with everything you could wish for, being it a gym, a great pool with nice loungers, cooking utilities, TV, places to sit in the sun or the shadow. We also quickly made friends with the dogs which came by occasionally, and all of us simply enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. If you want to go out and explore: ancient Korinth is not far and a great place to visit, Athens is also not far to go, so could also dive deep into the Greek culture. Our host Cosma was very easy to communicate with before the visit, and he even allowed us to stay a day longer as we could not fly out due to an air traffic controller strike: really the perfect host ! We have been travelling with VRBO across the world to many places - this one is really one of the best we ever stayed at. We will definitively come back !

Prachtige vakantiewoning met spectaculair uitzicht

Wij verbleven hier 2 weken met 5 koppels vrienden. Wat een prachtig vakantiehuis is dit! We hebben fantastisch genoten van de diverse zonne- en schaduwterrassen om te eten en te relaxen. de grote, goed uitgeruste binnenkeuken en de overdekte BBQ, de goede tuin - en zwembadzetels. Leuk ook dat we geen badlakens moesten meebrengen en zelfs douchezeep was voorhanden. Een goed functionerende airco in alle kamers zijn een absoluut pluspunt in de Warme Griekse zomers. Vele ontspanningmogelijkheden (cultuur, natuur, watersport, bezienswaardigheden) voor dagtrips. En natuurlijk, het fantastische Vouliagmeni meer aan je voeten met diverse authentieke restaurantjes rondom. Onze favoriet: Lido! We willen Cosma ook danken voor zijn flexibiliteit in deze moeilijke COVID tijd. Hij was telkens binnen het uur beschikbaar voor info en oplossingen. dit huis zal de referentie zijn bij onze vakanties!

Family Holiday Greece 2019

We chose to visit Greece for our family holiday this year as both my wife and I had spent many happy holidays there when we were our kids age. We always promised to take them to Greece one day, they are now 24, 23 & 23 so it was long overdue. The Villa turned out to be a fantastic choice for our holiday. It’s location is quite spectacular, sitting high above lake Vouliagmeni, the view is stunning. The property itself is extremely spacious, very well equipped and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday, Whether sitting out on the balconies, by the pool, at the BBQ area or in the hot tub, everything felt very relaxing. We went to Athens, Loutraki and Ancient Corinth while we were there, which were all easy to get to and added to the holiday and experience for the kids. This is a great place to experience all the great things about Greece, I will be recommending it to my friends. Kevin Doolan

Maison et cadre idyllique, notre séjour, fin avril début mai, n'a pas permis de profiter pleinement des possibilités offertes par cette résidence, piscine , jacuzzi, lac et mer à toute proximité, météo variable, beaucoup de vent, vu l'exposition de la maison. Nous avons apprécié le confort de cette superbe maison intérieur et extérieur, ainsi que les alentours du lac, très beau panorama. Nous étions cinq couples comme précisé dans notre réservation. Désagrément pour le couple qui a dormi sur le canapé dans le salon, sans intimité, (passage des autres personnes). Pas de salle de bain à l'étage pour eux (la salle de bain de l'étage est dans la chambre de l'autre couple). Ils devaient descendre à la salle de bain du rez de chaussé pour la partager avec deux autres couples. La maison de ce fait la maison a été beaucoup moins appréciée. Dommage pour l'ambiance. Pour conclure, l'intitulé "luxeux 5 chambres" est inapproprié et nous sommes déçus. Satisfait de la communication avec le propriétaire pour divers conseils : trajet, commerces locaux et restaurants...

Ein wunderbares Feriendomizil

Wir haben Ende Oktober für fast 2 Wochen dieses wunderbare Feriendomizil bewohnt. Insgesamt waren wir 6 Erwachsene sowie 5 Kinder im Alter von 1 - 10 Jahren. Die Bilder in der Fewo-Direkt Anzeige (deutsche Seite von homeaway) und ein Video bei youtube hatten uns ja schon einen Eindruck vermitteln können. Mit Hilfe der Wegbeschreibung, die uns Cosma, der Eigentümer, per Mail sendete, machten wir uns auf den Weg zum Haus. Als wir dann über die schöne Fahrtstrecke von Athen und Korinth am Zielort in etwa 1,5 Stunden Fahrzeit ankamen, hat uns zunächst die besondere Lage begeistert. Wo hat man schon See- und Meerblick? Eine wirlich exponierte, einzigartige Lage mit Ausblicken über die gesamte Umgebung. Das Haus ist bestens auf unseren Besuch vorbereitet worden. Und es tatsächlich alles so, wie beschrieben und bebildert - nichts ist bei der Webanzeige beschönigt. Das Haus ist sehr durchdacht, solide gebaut und war für uns mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Die Ausstattung ebenso perfekt, geschmackvoll und dennoch praktisch. So konnte der Urlaub bei bestem Wetter gleich beginnen. Die Kinder haben mit uns Tischfussball oder Billiard gespielt. Oder wir schwammen im Pool und wärmten uns anschließend im Außen-Whirlpool. Handtücher sind in großer Anzahl vorhanden. Natürlich hat das Haus auch alle technischen Annehmlichkeiten. Da das Wetter ebenso schön war, haben wir die geräumige Grillecke oft genutzt. Wenn es uns dann zu kalt wurde, konnte der Abend bei Kaminfeuer im Wohnzimmer fortgesetzt werden. Alle Schlafzimmer haben eine herrliche Aussicht, 3 Zimmer haben Bäder "en suite". Neben den Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses ist die Region auch interessant und geschichtsträchtig. Gleich in der Nähe findet sich ein antiker Tempel, aber auch der Korinther Kanal oder Grabungsstätten wie Mykene oder Epidaurus sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Oder man erkundet die Gegend und findet so Badebuchten zum Schnorcheln oder Entspannen (Badeschuhe empfohlen, da zumeist Kiesstrand). Das Haus war bei unserer Anreise schon mit einem Lager an Lebensmitteln ausgestattet. So konnte unser Urlaub gleich beginnen und wir mussten nicht direkt in den kleinen Supermarkt in Perachora, der etwa 10 Fahrminuten mit dem Auto entfernt liegt. Natürlich konnte man merken, dass wir in der Nebensaison am Ort waren, aber ein schönes Restaurant am See, in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, hatte dennoch geöffnet. Es war einfach ein rundum gelungener, perfekter Urlaub. Vielen Dank an Cosma!

Wonderful villa in a sensational setting - a hidden gem

We were a three generation group ranging from 3 - 78 years and the villa was perfect for us. Incredibly spacious with lots of internal and external sitting areas. Plenty of shade for those that did not want to be in the sun. The pool was not huge, but more than adequate as we were able to swim in the lake and sea - both just 100m away. The lake was a favourite with everyone and those who wanted a longer swim could swim across or along it. We hired bikes. The terrain around the lake is quite flat but the hills out of the village were challenging. The villa is well equipped and Cosma was quick to sort out any issues we had. You can walk to three or four tavernas. This is not a well known tourist destination but the views from the villa were sensational and the photos don't really do it justice. We felt we were in a very authentic part of Greece with friendly locals, good food and perfect sunny weather. None of us wanted to leave and we all want to stay there again.

Great house with beautiful views!

We spend 1 week in this beautiful house. Everything was well equipped and was very clean. The jacuzzi is a great plus and the pool is very refreshing at a hot day. Nice bar in the basement were you can make you’re own cocktails. Cosma is very friendly and his respons if you need anything is very quick. Recommend this place!

Werkelijk fantastische villa met rondom een adembenemend uitzicht

Wij hebben als 2 families een week mogen genieten van deze fantastische villa. Het is bijna niet te geloven dat in één boeking alles zit waar je maar van kunt dromen: de ruimte in de villa, zwembad, jacuzzi, pizzaoven, barbecue, verschillende terrassen met overal een adembenemend uitzicht. Alle slaapkamers hebben zicht op het meer of op de zee. Van klein tot groot volop genoten! We willen terug!

Maison magnifique !

Nous étions 2 familles soit 10 personnes et avons passé des vacances inoubliables ! La maison est très fonctionnelle, chacun avait son intimité grâce à ses nombreuses chambres et SDB. Vous franchissez le seuil de la porte et déjà vous êtes transportés ! C'est une maison qui a une âme, tout est conçu pour votre bien être. L'équipement est au top. La maison vous offre de nombreuses terrasses toutes très agréables. La vue est sublime de partout ! Elle est située très près de la mer et du lac. Sur le lac se trouvent quelques restaurants très sympas, tels que l'Ipanema et aussi le 1er restaurant lorsque vous arrivez par la route, le RDV des pécheurs ! Le coin est calme mais animé tout de même, la mer est sublime, pas de véritables plages, exceptée celle vers l'Ipanema mais où l'eau est turquoise ! Pour vos courses vous avez une petite supérette à 10mn et sinon un peu plus loin, environ 20mn, la "ville" Loutraki. Un grand merci à Cosma pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse, il a su répondre rapidement à une demande que nous lui avons faite et qui semblait pourtant un peu compliquée au départ ! Nous espérons vraiment pouvoir revenir !

Great villa with everything you might possibly need!

We had a great stay at this villa. The views from the house to the lake and sea are absolutely amazing. Supermarkets and restaurants are easy to reach by car. We stayed there with 9 adults and 5 kids and there is definitely enough room in the house and outside to have some privacy if needed even when you are a big group! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need, enough plates, glasses etc even for big groups. We really enjoyed every second at the villa and will be happy to come back at some point. The owner and his helper Fofo were very helpful whenever we needed something. Thanks again!

Wow! True luxury!!

This was an amazing, gorgeous property. It was all very new and modern but still fit into the rural scenery and allowed you to appreciate the view of the lake and stars. The gourmet kitchen was a dream and the pool was perfect. Automated blinds really blocked out the sun to allow us to sleep in the morning. And the pool table and fusball were big hits with the kids. The lake was great and there was an amazing cove with the ruins of a temple to Hera just 5 minutes away around the lake. Decent places to eat on the lake - our favorite was Ypanema - and the village with grocery store and bakery was just 10 min drive. We loved it!!

Wunderschöne Villa mit tollem Ausblick

Wir waren total begeistert von diesem Haus. Es war sehr groß, gepflegt und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Außerdem hatte man einen super Ausblick. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 min beim nächsten Supermarkt und in 20 min in Loutraki. Dort gibts es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Am See gibt es auch einige Restaurants und man kann Wasserski fahren. Ansonsten ist es eher eine ruhigere Gegend, was aber auch nicht schlecht ist :) Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal herkommen, da die Villa wunderschön ist und viel Platz bietet.

Why they chose this property

I was house hunting with the idea of finding a dream place that would be within driving distance of an International Airport. I scouted the greek coast from the south of Athens up to the Corinthian Gulf. When a friend brought me to the lake, I immediately knew that it was it. Entering the house and seeing the water all around the window doors in the huge livign room just took my breath away. It was much larger than what I was looking for but you shouldn't argue with love at first sight.

What makes this property unique

The villa is really big. Bigger than what appears on the photos, most say. Large families or groups of friends will feel together while having a lot of space of their own. The view from practically every room is breathtaking and you just never get tired of it. The pool, jacuzzi, BBQ, many sitting and sunbathing areas, make it a heaven of rest and entertainment. Sea and salt-water lake are 3 minutes walk on each side. And civilisation is not not far away, with Loutraki, a major summer destination, less than 20 minutes drive.
